ðą Shinawatra University Secures THB 982,000 in TSRI Research Funding for FY2027
Shinawatra University (SIU) continues to strengthen its research excellence and commitment to sustainable development, securing THB 982,000 in research funding from Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) under the Fundamental Fund (FF) programme for fiscal year 2027.
The allocation includes THB 933,000 for research and innovation and THB 49,000 to enhance research programme and project management, supporting **13 research projects** under the Health and Wellness and Frontier Research programmes.
These projects address a wide range of societal needs, from improving the health and well-being of children, older adults, patients, and farmers to developing community-focused technology prototypes, adding value to herbal products, preserving traditional performing arts through cultural tourism, and expanding access to open online learning.
This achievement reflects SIUâs continued dedication to advancing impactful research, strengthening academic capacity, and translating knowledge into practical solutions that benefit communities.
