ผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยพายัพร่วมเวทีเสวนาในงานการประชุมอารยธรรมและวัฒนธรรมจีน-ไทย ครั้งที่ 3 สานสัมพันธ์ไทย-จีนผ่านศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม

On 27 June 2026, Mr. Aphicha Insuwan, President of Payap University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee, Dean of the Interdisciplinary Studies College, participated in the 3rd China–Thailand Civilization and Culture Forum and the contemporary art exhibition "Though far apart, we are close neighbors; across mountains and seas, our friendship endures." (天涯比邻·山海有情) in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The event was organized to promote artistic and cultural exchange as well as mutual learning between Thailand and China.
During the forum, Mr. Aphicha Insuwan delivered a welcoming address and extended his congratulations on the successful organization of the 3rd China–Thailand Civilization and Culture Forum. He also expressed his appreciation for the forum's important role in promoting artistic and cultural exchange, which contributes to strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Thailand and China.
Mr. Aphicha Insuwan and Assistant Professor Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee also joined a panel discussion with distinguished Chinese artists whose works were featured in the exhibition. The discussion explored the role of art in connecting people from diverse cultural backgrounds and promoting intercultural learning through artistic expression.
The event also featured a Chinese Art Exhibition, showcasing traditional Chinese paintings and Chinese calligraphy created by renowned artists. The exhibition reflected the richness of Chinese culture and artistic heritage while highlighting the profound wisdom embodied in traditional Chinese art. It also provided participants with an opportunity to appreciate the enduring value of Chinese artistic traditions and the role of art in fostering cultural appreciation between the two countries.

2026年6月27日，泰国西北大学（Payap University）校长 Aphicha Insuwan 跨学科研究学院院长 Assistant Professor Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee应邀出席在中国北京市举行的第三届中泰文明文化论坛暨当代艺术展**“天涯比邻·山海有情”**。本次活动旨在促进中泰两国在艺术、文化领域的交流合作，深化两国人民之间的相互学习与友好往来。

Payap University Signs Academic Cooperation Agreement with Communication University of Tianjin

On 26 June 2026, Mr. Aphicha Insuwan, President of Payap University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee, Dean of the Interdisciplinary Studies College, and Ms. Zhao Yubing, Secretary and Interpreter of the Interdisciplinary Studies College, visited the Communication University of Tianjin in Tianjin, People's Republic of China, to discuss future academic collaboration and participate in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions.
The Payap University delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives of the Communication University of Tianjin, led by Mr. Li Weijia, Assistant President and Executive Vice Dean of the Industry College, along with executives from the Office of Research and International Exchange, the School of Broadcasting and Hosting Arts, the School of Drama, and the School of Music.
During the meeting, both institutions exchanged information on their institutional development, internationalization strategies, and future directions for cooperation. Discussions focused on faculty and student exchanges, joint research, curriculum development, academic activities, as well as collaborations in media, arts, and cultural exchange, with the aim of promoting intercultural learning and enhancing international educational experiences.
Following the discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed by Mr. Aphicha Insuwan, President of Payap University, and Mr. Li Weijia, Assistant President and Executive Vice Dean of the Industry College, Communication University of Tianjin, in the presence of executives and representatives from both institutions.
After the signing ceremony, the Payap University delegation toured the School of Music, teaching facilities, laboratories, theatres, and other practice-based learning spaces. The delegation also visited the Wuzhong Art Museum, where they viewed a variety of student creative works, including stage designs for original musicals, multimedia productions, and new media art installations. The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange perspectives on integrating artistic creation with teaching and learning, as well as interdisciplinary approaches to talent development in an international context.
The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks an important step in establishing cooperation between Payap University and the Communication University of Tianjin. The partnership is expected to promote academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in education, arts, and culture, thereby enhancing the international competencies of students and personnel from both institutions.

Payap University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Beijing Contemporary Music Academy to Strengthen International Academic Collaboration
On 25 June 2026, Mr. Aphicha Insuwan, President of Payap University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee, Dean of the Interdisciplinary Studies College, and the university delegation visited Beijing Contemporary Music Academy (CMA) in Beijing, People's Republic of China, to participate in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and to discuss future directions for academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mr. Aphicha Insuwan, President of Payap University, and Mr. Li Ping, Executive Dean of Beijing Contemporary Music Academy, in the presence of executives and representatives from both institutions. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to advancing international academic cooperation and fostering long-term institutional partnerships.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on future collaborative initiatives, including faculty and student exchanges, short-term study programs, curriculum development, joint academic activities, and professional training programs. คณะศิลปินจีนเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ ในงานประชุมอารยธรรมและวัฒนธรรมจีน–ไทย ครั้งที่ 2 “ปี่หลิน ซานไห่โหย่วฉิง” และนิทรรศการศิลปะร่วมสมัย “อี๋หล่านจ้งซาน”

เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม 2569 วิทยาลัยสหวิทยาการ มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ ได้รับเกียรติอย่างยิ่งในการต้อนรับคณะศิลปินและนักอักษรวิจิตรจากสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ซึ่งเดินทางมาเข้าร่วม การประชุมอารยธรรมและวัฒนธรรมจีน–ไทย ครั้งที่ 2 “ปี่หลิน ซานไห่โหย่วฉิง” (เพื่อนบ้านใกล้ชิด มิตรภาพงดงามเหนือขุนเขาและท้องทะเล) และนิทรรศการศิลปะร่วมสมัย “อี๋หล่านจ้งซาน” (มองทั่วหมู่ขุนเขาจากมุมมองอันสูงส่ง

Chinese Artists Delegation Visits Payap University “天涯比邻 山海有情” — The 2nd China-Thailand Civilization and Culture Forum & “一览众山” Contemporary Art Exhibition

On May 20, 2026, the Interdisciplinary Studies College (ISC) at Payap University had the great honor of hosting a distinguished delegation of Chinese calligraphers and contemporary artists. The visit was part of the 2nd “天涯比邻 山海有情” China-Thailand Civilization and Culture Forum and the “一览众山” Contemporary Art Exhibition.
The distinguished delegation was warmly welcomed by the administrators, faculty members, staff, and students of the Interdisciplinary Studies College at Payap University. During the visit, the Chinese artists generously donated a collection of their precious paintings, calligraphy works, and sculptures to Payap University. These artworks will be proudly displayed on campus as a lasting symbol of friendship and cultural exchange between China and Thailand.
Art serves as a powerful bridge connecting the hearts and minds of Thailand and China, reflecting the deep historical and cultural bonds between the two nations. The delegation’s visit not only enriched the university’s cultural atmosphere but also provided valuable opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue and artistic collaboration.

Interdisciplinary Studies College, Payap University Welcomes Executives from Yunnan Light and Textile Industry Vocational College, People’s Republic of China
On October 31, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Ajarn Gun Ukoskid, Assistant Dean for Administration of the Interdisciplinary Studies College, Assist. Prof. Pikoon Pongklang, Ajarn Cheewaporn Insaeng, and Ajarn Gao Haiping warmly welcomed five distinguished executives from Yunnan Light and Textile Industry Vocational College, People’s Republic of China: Mr. Chen Jianmín, Ms. Wang Huì, Mr. Lín Yuechao, Ms. Zhang Yìzhi, and Ms. Wang Xuerui — during their official visit to Payap University in Chiang Mai.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen academic relations, explore future collaboration in international programs, promote student and staff exchanges, and foster cross-cultural understanding between the two institutions. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere filled with mutual goodwill and friendship.

วิทยาลัยสหวิทยาการ มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ จัดกิจกรรมให้นักศึกษาชาวจีนเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมและอาหารท้องถิ่นเชียงใหม่
ระหว่างวันที่ 7–11 กรกฎาคม 2568 วิทยาลัยสหวิทยาการ มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ จัดกิจกรรม “Local Culture and Chiang Mai Cuisine” สำหรับนักศึกษาชาวจีน โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธีราลักษณ์ สัจจะวาที คณบดีวิทยาลัยสหวิทยาการ เป็นผู้นำและให้เกียรติกล่าวเปิดกิจกรรม
ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเรียนรู้เชิงวัฒนธรรมในภาคการศึกษาที่ 1/2568 กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อให้นักศึกษาชาวจีนได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์ตรงเกี่ยวกับวิถีชีวิตและอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยเฉพาะด้าน “อาหารพื้นเมือง” ซึ่งถือเป็นส่วนสำคัญของภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นและเอกลักษณ์ของภาคเหนือ
ภายในกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้การปรุงอาหารพื้นเมืองยอดนิยม เช่น ขนมจีนน้ำเงี้ยว แกงฮังเล และน้ำพริกอ่อง
พร้อมรับฟังเรื่องราวความเป็นมาของอาหารแต่ละชนิดจากวิทยากรท้องถิ่นผู้เชี่ยวชาญ นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมเชิงวัฒนธรรมอื่น ๆ เช่น การแต่งกายพื้นเมือง การสานตะกร้าจากใบลาน และการเรียนรู้ภาษาคำเมืองพื้นฐานเพื่อใช้สื่อสารกับชาวเชียงใหม่ บรรยากาศของกิจกรรมเป็นไปอย่างสนุกสนาน เต็มไปด้วยรอยยิ้มและเสียงหัวเราะ นักศึกษาชาวจีนให้ความสนใจและมีส่วนร่วมอย่างกระตือรือร้นในทุกกิจกรรม หลายคนกล่าวว่า “กิจกรรมนี้ช่วยให้เข้าใจเชียงใหม่และวัฒนธรรมไทยมากขึ้น” และ “รู้สึกประทับใจกับความอบอุ่นของคนท้องถิ่น”
การจัด Workshop ครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียน แต่ยังเป็นเวทีแห่งการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมระหว่างประเทศ

Interdisciplinary Studies College, Payap University Organizes Cultural and Culinary Activities for Chinese Students to Experience Chiang Mai’s Local Heritage
From July 7–11, 2025, the Interdisciplinary Studies College, Payap University, organized a five-day Cultural Workshop for Chinese students under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee, Dean of the College, as part of the international students’ learning program for Semester 1/2025.
The workshop was designed to provide hands-on experiences in Chiang Mai’s traditional lifestyle, food culture, and community heritage, helping students better understand the Northern Thai way of life.
Throughout the week, participants learned to cook local dishes such as Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao, Kaeng Hang Lay, and Nam Prik Ong, while listening to local instructors share the stories, origins, and cultural significance behind each recipe.
Students also joined additional cultural activities such as wearing traditional Northern attire,
crafting palm-leaf baskets, and practicing basic Kam Mueang (Northern Thai dialect) to communicate with locals.
The workshop atmosphere was filled with laughter, creativity, and meaningful interaction. Chinese students expressed great enthusiasm and enjoyment, noting that the experience deepened their understanding of Chiang Mai’s culture and the warmth of Thai hospitality.
This program not only enriched students’ experiential learning outside the classroom but also fostered meaningful cross-cultural exchange between Chinese students and the local community. It reflects Payap University’s mission to promote international understanding through cultural learning and global education collaboration.

泰国西北大学跨学科研究学院举办中泰文化与美食工作坊——中国留学生深入体验清迈地方文化
2025年7月7日至11日，泰国西北大学跨学科研究学院举办了为期五天的
“清迈地方文化与美食工作坊”，
由泰国西北大学跨学科研究学院 Teeralak Sajjatawatee 副教授、博士主持开幕。
此次活动旨在让中国留学生深入了解泰国北部文化，
特别是饮食文化这一独具特色的地方智慧与生活方式。
在活动期间，学生亲手学习制作清迈特色菜肴，
如“清迈米线（Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao）” 、“缅甸咖喱（Kaeng Hang Lay）”和“辣椒肉酱（Nam Prik Ong）”，
并聆听当地厨师讲解每道菜的历史渊源与文化故事。
此外，学生还参加了丰富多彩的文化活动——学习穿着泰北传统服饰、
用棕榈叶编织篮子、以及学习基础兰纳方言（Kam Mueang），
以便与清迈当地居民进行交流。
整个活动气氛热烈而愉快，学生们积极参与、兴致盎然，
许多中国学生表示：“这次活动让我真正了解了清迈，也感受到了泰国文化的温度。”
他们不仅学到了知识，更结识了朋友，体验到文化交流的乐趣。
此次工作坊不仅拓展了学生课堂之外的学习经验，
更为中泰文化交流搭建了友谊之桥，
促进了国际学生与当地社区之间的理解与互信，
充分体现了西北大学跨学科研究学院在推动国际教育与文化交流方面的坚定承诺。

“Payap University Delegation Contributes to Third Silk Road (China-Central Asia) Model UN Conference”

มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ โดยอธิการบดีอาจารย์อภิชา อินสุวรรณ เข้าร่วมในงาน conference “การประชุมแบบจำลองสหประชาชาติ เส้นทางสายไหม (จีน–เอเชียกลาง) ครั้งที่ 3”

มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพร่วมเสริมสร้างการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรมและบทสนทนาระหว่างเยาวชนระดับโลก

มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพได้เข้าร่วมในพิธีเปิดอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ของ “การประชุมแบบจำลองสหประชาชาติ เส้นทางสายไหม (จีน–เอเชียกลาง) ครั้งที่ 3” และ “กิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนมนุษยศาสตร์เยาวชนจีน–เอเชียกลาง” เมื่อวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2025 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยภาษาต่างประเทศซีอาน (Xi’an International Studies University: XISU) วิทยาเขตชางอัน

คณะผู้แทนของพายัพนำโดย อธิการบดี อาจารย์อภิชา อินสุวรรณ ผู้ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญในการผลักดันความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศของมหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ และมหาวิทยาลัยในต่างประเทศ อย่างต่อเนื่อง สำหรับการเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงจิตวิญญาณของเส้นทางสายไหมในการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรม โดยภายใต้การนำของท่านอธิการบดี พายัพได้มีส่วนช่วยยกระดับการประชุมให้โดดเด่นยิ่งขึ้น โดยเน้นบทบาทของไทยในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างจีนและประเทศในเอเชียกลาง

งานนี้จัดโดยมหาวิทยาลัยภาษาต่างประเทศซีอาน( XISU ) และได้รับการสนับสนุนจากหน่วยงานหลายแห่ง เช่น สำนักงานเลขาธิการกลไกความร่วมมือจีน–เอเชียกลาง กรมการศึกษา มณฑลส่านซี สมาคมมิตรภาพประชาชนมณฑลส่านซีกับต่างประเทศ สันนิบาตเยาวชนคอมมิวนิสต์มณฑลส่านซี กรมประชาสัมพันธ์เมืองซีอาน ศูนย์การสื่อสารระหว่างประเทศมณฑลส่านซี และศูนย์การสื่อสารระหว่างประเทศเมืองซีอาน

ภายใต้แนวคิด “Symphony of Civilizations, Harmoniously Building Dreams” หรือ “บทเพลงแห่งอารยธรรม สร้างฝันร่วมกันอย่างสันติ” งานประชุมนี้ได้รวบรวมผู้แทนจากประเทศคาซัคสถาน อุซเบกิสถาน ทาจิกิสถาน รัสเซีย ไทย และมหาวิทยาลัยภายในประเทศจีนกว่า 25 แห่ง เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกันในจิตวิญญาณของเส้นทางสายไหมผ่านกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย

ก่อนการประชุม อาจารย์อภิชา อินสุวรรณ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ ได้พบหารืออย่างสร้างสรรค์กับ รองอธิการบดีของ มหาวิทยาลัยภาษาต่างประเทศซีอาน ( XISU )โดยพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนในด้านการศึกษาภาษา การแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม และการพัฒนาเยาวชน ซึ่งถือเป็นการวางรากฐานสำคัญสำหรับความร่วมมือในอนาคต

ทั้งนี้ ทุกท่านได้มีส่วนร่วมอย่างแข็งขันในการจำลองการประชุมสหประชาชาติและการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการทางมนุษยศาสตร์ โดยอธิการบดีอภิชาได้ร่วมอภิปรายในหัวข้อเกี่ยวกับ “ความกลมกลืนระหว่างวัฒนธรรม” และ “การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน” ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของการประชุมในการสร้าง “สะพานแห่งมิตรภาพ” สำหรับเยาวชนจีนและเอเชียกลาง

การเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้ช่วยเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศของพายัพ และตอกย้ำพันธกิจ “สัจธรรมและการรับใช้ (Truth and Service)” ของมหาวิทยาลัย

มหาวิทยาลัยภาษาต่างประเทศซีอาน (XISU) ถือเป็นหนึ่งในมหาวิทยาลัยด้านภาษาชั้นนำของประเทศจีน มีชื่อเสียงด้านแนวทางการศึกษาที่เน้น “ภาษาต่างประเทศ และวิชาชีพเฉพาะทาง” และมุ่งพัฒนาบุคลากรที่มีสมรรถนะระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมสู่โลกที่เชื่อมโยงกันอย่างลึกซึ้ง

Payap University Delegation Contributes to Third Silk Road (China-Central Asia) Model UN Conference: Strengthening Global Youth Dialogue and Cultural Harmony
Payap University proudly participated in the grand opening of the Third Silk Road (China-Central Asia) Model United Nations Conference and China-Central Asia Youth Humanities Exchange Event on October 24, 2025, at the Xi'an International Studies University (XISU) Chang'an Campus. Led by President Mr. Apicha Insuwan, whose strategic leadership has advanced Payap's international outreach, the delegation played a key role in enriching this significant gathering, aligning with the Silk Road's spirit of cultural exchange. Mr. Insuwan’s guidance ensured Payap's contributions enhanced the event's focus on Sino-Central Asian collaboration.
The event, hosted by XISU and supported by the China-Central Asia Mechanism Secretariat, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, Shaanxi People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Communist Youth League of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an Municipal Publicity Department, Shaanxi International Communication Center, and Xi'an International Communication Center, brought together representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Thailand, and 25 domestic universities. Themed "Symphony of Civilizations, Harmoniously Building Dreams," the conference deepened mutual understanding of the Silk Road spirit through diverse activities. Mr. Insuwan oversaw Payap's involvement, ensuring Thai perspectives were integrated into discussions on cultural dialogue and sustainability.
Before the conference, President Insuwan held a productive and cooperative meeting with XISU Vice President, who hosted the opening ceremony. This discussion, focused on language education, cultural exchange, and youth leadership, laid a foundation for future collaboration. Mr. Insuwan’s efforts in aligning Payap’s goals with XISU’s mission helped set a positive tone for the event.
The Payap delegation, including President Mr. Apicha Insuwan; Asst. Prof. Dr. Theeralak Satjawathee, Dean of Payap's Interdisciplinary Studies College; Dr. Supalacsana Lomlai, Assistant Dean of the Interdisciplinary Studies College; and Ms. Prapawon Buranaphan, Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research, actively participated in model UN simulations and humanities workshops. Mr. Insuwan facilitated discussions, contributing Thai insights on intercultural harmony and sustainable development, which supported the conference's goal of building a "firm bridge for China-Central Asia youth dialogue." Through these efforts, Payap expanded its international network and reinforced its "Truth and Service" mission.
