CMU Buddy - University of Technology Sydney (Nursing & Midwifery) 2026

👉🏻 The Language Institute is inviting Chiang Mai University students to apply for the “CMU Buddy” program, where they will be buddies with international students from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia 2026 for cultural exchange.

👉🏻 Program Objective: This program aims to provide students with the opportunity to form friendships with international peers, enhance their foreign language communication skills, and engage in cultural exchange focused on cross-cultural activities, Nursing knowledge, and Midwifery.

💫 Free of charge, no fees involved.

✅What you will receive:
- A Certificate of Participation upon successful completion of the program activities.
- An official CMU Buddy T-shirt.
- Activity hours for the Student Loan Fund (SLF) or the Income Contingent Loan (ICL) program.

📃 Program Details:

📍 Buddy Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to new international students
- Translate for International Students
- Able to support the LICMU staff during an excursion
- Providing and sharing information about Health, Midwifery, Language, and Culture
- Availability on 5 - 11 July 2026

👉🏻 Program Objective: This program aims to provide students with the opportunity to form friendships with international peers, enhance their foreign language communication skills, and engage in cultural exchange focused on cross-cultural activities, business, and entrepreneurship.

🌏 2024 Asia Culture Expedition: Dreaming of Another Asia 🌏

Eight students from the Language Institute Chiang Mai joined the “Dreaming of Another Asia” program in Gwangju, South Korea, from October 4 to 11, 2024.

They spent the week with young artists from Korea, Thailand, Mongolia, Indonesia, China, and Taiwan, taking part in cultural exchanges, public art projects, workshops, and tours of the city.

The program showed how art can revitalize communities and spark new ideas. Through festivals, exhibitions, and networking, participants shared experiences, built new friendships, and explored creative ways to work together.

They also learned how creativity can help solve real-world problems and bring positive change to their communities.

Our students came back inspired, with fresh ideas and connections that will help shape a more creative and connected Asia.

วันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2562 เจ้าหน้าที่จากสถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จัดการประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมกับผู้ปกครองและนักเรียนผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการทัศนศึกษาต่างประเทศ (CMU Tours - Study Abroad Program 2020) ณ โรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัย โดยครั้งนี้เป็นการชี้แจงรายละเอียดโครงการทัศนศึกษาที่ประเทศสิงคโปร์ และเมืองเซี่ยงไฮ้ สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน

โดยคุณครูอัมภาพร จันทร์กระจ่าง ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัยได้กล่าวเปิดการประชุม จากนั้นทีมเจ้าหน้าที่จากสถาบันภาษาได้อธิบายรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับโครงการเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการก่อนออกเดินทางไปต่างประเทศ

ซึ่งในช่วงหลังเทศกาลขึ้นปีใหม่ ทางสถาบันภาษาจะจัดกิจกรรมเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรมให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการอีกครั้ง

During this festive season, Language Institute Chiang Mai University (LICMU) staff organized a info-session for both the parents and students at Regina Coeli College who are enrolled for the Shanghai Study Tour and Singapore Study Tour program to take place in March 2020.

Regina Coeli College, led by their Director - Kru Ampaporn Chankrachang gave a welcome speech to all the parents and students for both programs, before LI staff deliver a debrief on what the students can expect when traveling to their respective countries.

A follow up language and culture session for both programs is expected to take place after the new year.

พิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือและประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการทัศนศึกษาต่างประเทศ (CMU Tours) ณ โรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัย

เนื่องในพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือโครงการ Study tour ระหว่างโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัย และ สถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2562 ทางสถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ได้มีโอกาสประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการทัศนศึกษาต่างประเทศโครงการใหม่ ภายใต้ชื่อ "CMU Tours"

โครงการทัศนศึกษาต่างประเทศโครงการใหม่นี้ เรามุ่งเน้นการให้บริการที่มีประสิทธิภาพและการเรียนรู้เก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ในต่างประเทศด้วยราคาที่สมเหตุสมผล เพื่อนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาได้มีโอกาสเปิดประสบการณ์ใหม่ 5 ประเทศ ได้แก่ ญี่ปุ่น จีน สิงคโปร์ ออสเตรเลีย และอังกฤษ โดยครั้งนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือจากคุณครูอัมภาพร จันทร์กระจ่าง ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัย กล่าวถึงโครงการว่า "เนื่องจากภาษาเป็นสิ่งสำคัญในการสื่อสารในยุคนี้ โดยเฉพาะภาษาอังกฤษ และนักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมโครงการในครั้งนี้ก็ได้มีโอกาสพัฒนาทักษะทางด้านภาษาต่างประเทศ และสามารถนำประสบการณ์ไปใช้ในการเรียนต่อในระดับที่สูงขึ้น รวมไปถึงการทำงานในอนาคต ทางโรงเรียนจึงได้ลงนามตกลงความร่วมมือกับทางสถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพของนักเรียนโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัยให้เป็นผู้หญิงที่มีคุณภาพตามเจตนารมณ์ของโรงเรียน คือ เราจะร่วมกันสร้างหญิงไทยใจสากล เพื่อให้เป็นพลโลกที่ดีต่อไป"

โดยในปี พ.ศ. 2563 สถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จะนำกลุ่มนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัยไปทัศนศึกษา ณ ประเทศจีน ประเทศญี่ปุ่น และประเทศสิงคโปร์ (ทั้งระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา)

On 15 November 2019, to coincide with the signing of a new 2-year study abroad agreement between Regina Coeli College and Language Institute Chiang Mai University, LICMU launched its brand-new look study abroad service today - "CMU Tours".

This new service aims at providing highest quality study abroad and experiential learning programs at affordable prices for high school students to five destinations: Japan, China, Singapore, Australia and United Kingdom. Commenting on this new collaboration, Mrs. Ampaporn Chankrachang, Director of Regina Coeli College said “English language is very important for communication nowadays. Participants who joined in this program had a chance to improve their language skills, and could use this experience when they are studying in high level, and in their future jobs. Looking to the future, we hope that through this agreement, we can help to improve the quality of our students to become global citizens”.

LICMU will be leading 4 study abroad programs in spring 2020 to China, Japan and Singapore for both prathom and matayom students from Regina Coeli College.
