On 23 September 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha participated in The 3rd Thailand Talent Summit 2026 as an expert, contributing perspectives and exchanging ideas on approaches to developing high-potential talent and human capital. The summit aimed to support Thailand’s development through knowledge, innovation, and specialized expertise.
A key theme of the summit was “Thailand as a Nation of Masters,” which emphasizes that national development does not require everyone to excel in the same way. Rather, the country should create systems and opportunities that enable individuals to discover, develop, and build upon their unique potential, allowing them to become a “Master” in the field in which they have particular strengths. Their expertise can then be translated into meaningful value for the economy, society, and the nation as a whole.
Participating as an expert also provided an opportunity to bring perspectives from education, research, and innovation development into the broader discussion on Thailand’s human capital development. Particular emphasis was placed on creating an ecosystem in which talented individuals can discover their potential, capable people are empowered to put their abilities into practice, and knowledge can be transformed into tangible impact.
This concept aligns closely with the evolving role of modern universities. Universities should not focus solely on producing graduates; they should also cultivate “professional practitioners who are adaptive and responsive to change.” Such individuals should be capable of transforming knowledge, expertise, and creativity into innovation, careers, and value for society. This represents an important part of developing the high-quality human capital needed to drive Thailand’s future.
“Thailand does not need everyone to excel in the same way. What it needs is to create opportunities for everyone to discover what they can become a Master of.”
