🛫 What Does a Flight Dispatcher Do?
Palm’s role can be divided into two main areas: office operations and on-flight operations.
🖥️ Office Operations
1️⃣ Monitoring TOBT, TSAT, and CTOT
2️⃣ Sending movement messages (AD, AA)
3️⃣ Receiving air-to-ground information and coordinating with pilots
4️⃣ Monitoring ATC flight plans
5️⃣ Coordinating with different departments and solving operational issues
6️⃣ Requesting parking bays for arriving aircraft

✈️ On-Flight Operations
1️⃣ Preparing the flight plan, briefing the pilot, and updating Zero Fuel Weight
2️⃣ Coordinating directly with pilots regarding operational needs or issues
3️⃣ Working closely with airline staff and various units to ensure safe and on-time departures
4️⃣ Solving unexpected situations during flight operations
