มฟล. ร่วม IOM อบรมนักข่าว-นักศึกษาเชียงราย รายงานข่าวการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐาน
สำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) ร่วมกับองค์การระหว่างประเทศเพื่อการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐาน (ไอโอเอ็ม) จัดโครงการฝึกอบรมการรายงานข่าวเพื่อการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐาน สำหรับสื่อมวลชนและนักศึกษาในจังหวัดเชียงราย ระหว่างวันที่ 21-22 สิงหาคม 2569 เวลา 08.30-16.30 น. ณ อาคาร E4 A ห้อง 714 และชุมชนนางแล มีผู้เข้าร่วม 30 คน ประกอบด้วยนักศึกษา ผู้สนใจทั่วไป และผู้สื่อข่าวในพื้นที่
กิจกรรมนี้ดำเนินการโดย ดร.ธนิกุล จันทรา คณบดีสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม
อาจารย์ ดร.ประดิษฐ์ ชินอุดมทรัพย์ อาจารย์ประจำสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มฟล. มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพของสื่อมวลชนและนักศึกษาในพื้นที่ชายแดนเชียงราย ให้เข้าใจแนวคิดและแนวโน้มด้านการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานในประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะการเคลื่อนย้ายข้ามพรมแดนจากประเทศเมียนมา เพื่อนำไปใช้ผลิตผลงานสื่อที่ถูกต้อง มีจริยธรรม และคำนึงถึงความอ่อนไหวต่อความขัดแย้ง
เนื้อหาครอบคลุม 6 หัวข้อ ได้แก่ การโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานคืออะไร คนเราย้ายถิ่นไปไหน อย่างไร และเพราะเหตุใด การจัดการการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานในประเทศไทย และการถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวผู้ย้ายถิ่นอย่างมีจริยธรรม นอกจากการบรรยาย ผู้เข้าร่วมยังลงพื้นที่ชุมชนนางแลเพื่อพบปะผู้ย้ายถิ่นโดยตรง โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากมูลนิธิวัฒนเสรี (The Freedom Story) เพื่อฝึกทักษะการสัมภาษณ์และการเล่าเรื่องด้วยความเข้าอกเข้าใจและเคารพศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ ผู้เข้าร่วมครบตามกำหนดจะได้รับประกาศนียบัตร และมีสิทธิ์สมัครรับทุนรายงานข่าวการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานระยะเวลา 3 เดือน เพื่อพัฒนาเป็นผลงานที่ได้รับการตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่จริง
กิจกรรมมุ่งเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์และการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันอย่างต่อเนื่องระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยกับโรงเรียน ชุมชน และสังคมโดยรอบ เพื่อให้สำนักวิชาและมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นที่พึ่งทางวิชาการและแหล่งพัฒนาศักยภาพของชุมชนอย่างแท้จริง
โครงการนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมบริการวิชาการต่อเนื่องของสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มฟล. ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมความเข้าใจของสาธารณชนต่อประเด็นการโยกย้ายถิ่นฐานบนพื้นฐานข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องและรอบด้าน

MFU partners with IOM to Train Chiang Rai Journalists and Students on Migration Reporting
The School of Social Innovation at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), host a training program on migration reporting for local journalists and students in Chiang Rai from August 21to 22, 2026, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., at Room 714, Building E4A, and the Nang Lae community. The two-day program brought together 30 participants, including students, community members, and local news reporters.
Led by Dr. Pradit Chinudomsap, a lecturer at MFU's School of Social Innovation, this project aims to strengthen the capacity of media professionals and students in the border area of Chiang Rai. It focuses on deepening their understanding of migration concepts and trends in Thailand, particularly cross-border movement from Myanmar, enabling them to produce accurate, ethical, and conflict-sensitive media coverage.
The training covers fundamental migration concepts, causes, routes, and Thailand's management policies, as well as ethical reporting techniques. In addition to classroom sessions, participants visit the Nang Lae community to engage directly with migrants, supported by The Freedom Story foundation. This field experience allows them to practice interviewing and storytelling with empathy and respect for human dignity. Participants who complete the program receive certificates and gain eligibility to apply for a three-month migration reporting fellowship to develop and publish their stories.
By fostering continuous learning between the university, local schools, and surrounding communities, this project positions MFU as an academic resource and a hub for community capacity building. Delivered through the School of Social Innovation's academic service outreach, the training advances public understanding of migration issues using accurate, well-rounded information.
