⏰ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 4–7 กันยายน 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยสุพานุวง แขวงหลวงพระบาง สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว

🔹มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ปฐม หงส์สุวรรณ อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาภาษาไทยและภาษาตะวันออก คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านคติชนวิทยา มานุษยวิทยาวัฒนธรรม และการศึกษาวัฒนธรรมลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง ให้เกียรติตอบรับคำเชิญเป็น Keynote Speaker ในการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติครั้งนี้

🔹การบรรยายครั้งนี้มุ่งนำเสนอองค์ความรู้ด้าน คติชนวิทยา มานุษยวิทยาวัฒนธรรม การศึกษาพื้นที่ลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง และพลวัตทางสังคมร่วมสมัย ผ่านมิติของความร่วมมือทางการศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยนด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรม ตลอดจนการพัฒนาเครือข่ายวิชาการในยุคดิจิทัล เพื่อส่งเสริมการสร้างองค์ความรู้ร่วมกันและความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในระดับภูมิภาคและนานาชาติ

🔔Keynote Speaker Announcement

🌏The Organizing Committee of the LCS ASEAN–China 2026: International Conference on Language, Culture, and Society in ASEAN–China 2026 is pleased to announce that Professor Dr. Pathom Hongsuwan, Department of Thai and Eastern Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahasarakham University, Thailand, has accepted our invitation to serve as a Keynote Speaker at the conference. The conference will take place from 4–7 September 2026 at Souphanouvong University, Luang Prabang, Lao PDR.

🔹Professor Hongsuwan is a distinguished scholar specializing in Folklore Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Cultural Heritage, and Mekong Studies. His research has significantly advanced the understanding of cultural diversity, indigenous knowledge, and the socio-cultural dynamics of the Greater Mekong Subregion. Through his extensive publications and academic contributions, he has played an important role in promoting interdisciplinary research and international scholarly collaboration in Southeast Asia.

🎤During the conference, Professor Hongsuwan will deliver a keynote address entitled “Modern Dynamics of the Mekong Region within the Context of Digital-Age Borderless Education.” His presentation will examine the evolving dynamics of the Mekong region through the lenses of folklore, cultural anthropology, and regional studies. It will also explore how digital transformation and borderless education are reshaping language, culture, and knowledge exchange, while creating new opportunities for cross-border academic collaboration and sustainable educational development.

🎯The Organizing Committee is honored to welcome Professor Hongsuwan as a keynote speaker and looks forward to his valuable insights, which will inspire meaningful academic dialogue and strengthen research collaboration among scholars, educators, and practitioners from ASEAN, China, and the wider international community.
