𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞, 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
On January 7, 2026, the 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒄 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚 warmly welcomed new students joining the 𝐽𝑎𝑛𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑦 2026 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒. The event brought together esteemed faculty members, staff, continuing students, and newly admitted students to connect, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
On this occasion, the Dean, 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘤. 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧. 𝘛𝘩𝘪 𝘗𝘩𝘶𝘰𝘤 𝘓𝘢𝘪 𝘕𝘨𝘶𝘺𝘦𝘯, delivered a warm welcome address and introduced the Faculty’s recent transformation into the Faculty of Public Policy, establishing on the Asian Institute of Technology’s long-standing strengths in development studies, governance, and interdisciplinary research. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴—𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 (𝘋𝘐𝘚), 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 (𝘎𝘋𝘚), 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘺 (𝘗𝘗)—𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴.
The Dean also shared important information regarding credit requirements, courses offered, the timeline for thesis preparation, as well as opportunities for student exchange and internship programs.
The Faculty of Public Policy would like to thank all faculty members, staff, continuing students, and new students for making this event a meaningful and enjoyable occasion.
