Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is an autonomous, international institute, established in 1959 to cater growing needs of advanced engineering education in the Asia. Since then, AIT has become an active partner in the promotion of technological change and development in the region. One of the Deans in AIT puts it this way: AIT is famous not because of faculty, because of students. Student Union
(SU), the student wing of AIT, is run independently by motivated and energetic student representatives serving all AIT students in order to facilitate academic requirements and enhance better student life during study in AIT. Student Union consists of 10 committees that take care of various activities and events including academics, accommodation, sports, trips and cultural exchange among students from various continents and countries. Student Union is not only the official channel for students, faculty and AIT management but also the facilitator for all inter & intra organizational student activities. We, Student Union members are proud of offering our volunteerism service to our elite fellows, AIT-ians).
