We have a special guest speaker Mr. U Soe Myint, the Director, OSHE Services Co., Ltd. (Private Company Business)/Chairman, Myanmar Environmental Assessment Association, (Local NGO)/Secretary-General, Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies (Local NGO). He will present on the topic:
"EIA/SIA Practices in Myanmar"
Speaker Bio
- Graduated from Rangoon Institute of Technology in 1983 specializing in Mining Engineering.
- Worked as a Faculty Member at Mining Engineering Department, RIT up to 1994 & resigned to pursue MBA Course at AIT.
- After obtaining MBA in April, 1996, Worked at Caterpillar Dealers in Bangkok, Thailand & Yangon, Myanmar from 1996 to 2013. Resigned on August 2013 at the capacity of General Manager ( Machines Division)
- Set up own company ( OSHE Services Co., Ltd.) with the my colleagues from RIT for providing Environmental Services since 2012 May. Currently we are offering EIA, and Environmental Auditing services.
- As social & academic activity,
Helping Mining Engineering Department from YTU as Visiting Faculty since 2012.
Taking responsibility of Secretary General Responsibility at Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies since 2019.
Taking responsibility of Chairman at Myanmar Environmental Assessment Association since November 2020.
- Served as President of AITAA Myanmar Chapter from 2014 to 2018.
