วันที่ 27 - 28 เมษายน 2569 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. เภสัชกรสมภพ ประธานธุรารักษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายแผนกลยุทธ์ พัฒนาคุณภาพและพันธกิจเพื่อสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เข้าร่วมการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติหัวข้อ “Engage Summit 2026” และพัฒนาเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการทำงานวิชาการเพื่อสังคมของมหาวิทยาลัย ณ เมืองลอนดอน และเมืองเบอร์มิงแฮม ประเทศสหราชอาณาจักร
โดยสมาคมพันธกิจสัมพันธ์มหาวิทยาลัยกับสังคม (Engagement Thailand: Ent) จัดโครงการนำผู้บริหารและนักวิจัยที่สนใจด้านการทำงานวิชาการเพื่อสังคมของมหาวิทยาลัยเข้าร่วมการประชุมฯ และแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์การบริหารจัดการและวิธีการทำงานวิชาการด้านมหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อสังคมของมหาวิทยาลัยในสหราชอาณาจักร พร้อมทั้งพัฒนาและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือ
ในโอกาสนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. เภสัชกรสมภพ ประธานธุรารักษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายแผนกลยุทธ์ พัฒนาคุณภาพและพันธกิจเพื่อสังคม ได้เข้าร่วมประชุมของ The National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) Annual Conference 2026 และหารือการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านการทำงานวิชาการเพื่อสังคมร่วมกับ University of Greenwich และKingston University

On 27–28 April 2026, Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement of Mahidol University, participated in the international academic forum “Engage Summit 2026” and engaged in strengthening collaborative networks in socially engaged scholarship in London and Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Organized by the Engagement Thailand Association (EnT), the program brought together university executives and researchers who are committed to advancing university social engagement. The visit provided an opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge and share experiences on institutional management approaches, public engagement practices, and socially engaged academic initiatives with leading universities and organizations in the United Kingdom, while also fostering future international partnerships.
During this occasion, Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., attended the Annual Conference of The National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) held under the theme “Engage Summit 2026” in Birmingham. The conference serves as a major platform for advancing the role of universities in building inclusive and impactful connections with society.
In addition, he held discussions to explore future academic collaboration and institutional partnership in the area of socially engaged scholarship with University of Greenwich and Kingston University.
