2026 impact rankings are out. Congratulations to Walailak University, which placed 47th worldwide.

Walailak University has officially been ranked 47th globally and 3rd in Thailand out of 1,646 institutions in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026.

The university also has four of its initiatives ranked among the World’s Top 30:

SDG 5 (Gender Equality): 5th Worldwide | 1st in Thailand
SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): 14th Worldwide | 2nd in Thailand

The Research Center for Language Teaching and Learning (RCLTL) is looking for five (5) mentees to join its Research Mentorship Program for 2026–2027. This is an opportunity to:

✅ Receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced researchers

✅ Get guidance on research design, data analysis, and academic writing

✅ Collaborate with a mentor as a co-author

✅ Develop a manuscript for submission to a reputable journal

✅ Present your work (free registration) at the 3rd International Research Conference on Language Teaching and Learning (March 2027)

The Research Center for Language Teaching and Learning, under the leadership of Assoc Prof. Dr. Mark Bedoya Ulla, held an online meeting on 7 May 2026 to discuss a forthcoming international research collaboration project with partner universities in the Philippines. Representatives from Caraga State University, Mindanao State University – Zamboanga Sibugay Campus, and Father Saturnino Urios University participated in the meeting.

The virtual gathering served as an initial platform for strengthening academic partnerships and exploring collaborative research opportunities in language education.

Day 2 (March 27, 2026) of the 2nd International Research Conference on Language Teaching and Learning began on a high note with a truly inspiring opening plenary session.

We were honored to have Dr. Roby Marlina as our keynote speaker, whose insights set a powerful tone for the day. This was followed by an engaging plenary session from the Assistant. Prof. Dr. Denchai Prabjandee, who offered thought-provoking perspectives that resonated deeply with participants.
