Google DeepMind joined our ICPC World Finals Online experiment conducted during the 49th ICPC World Finals Baku, solving 10 ICPC World Championship problems out of 12 — a gold medal-level achievement. Congratulations on the stellar performance! OpenAI took a historic step by joining the inaugural experiment to incorporate AI development tools into the 49th Annual ICPC World Finals Local Judge hosted in Baku by ADA University. This special event used the same set of problems and test data as the official ICPC World Championship, targeting top-tier competitive programmers and coaches attending the finals.

Demonstrating the power of AI under ICPC oversight, OpenAI's models successfully solved all 12 problems – a milestone akin to achieving a gold medal at the highest level of achievement! Congratulations to the OpenAI team for their exceptional performance.
