The 3rd SDIS RSU-PPE TU-MUIC-SWUIC QUAD FRIENDSHIP DEBATE 2025

On 4th April 2025, three of our debaters from the RSU Debate Society at the School of Diplomacy and International Studies, Rangsit University, secured victory for the third consecutive year in the 3rd QUAD Friendship Debate Competition held at Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our outstanding debaters; May Thet Maung 🇲🇲, Jyoti Singh 🇹🇭 and La Pyae Maung 🇲🇲 for their exceptional effort.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to SDIS faculty and this Society members who contributed to the preparatory and academic support leading up to the competition.

Following the major earthquake on March 28, 2025, in Myanmar and Thailand, severe damage has been caused to the lives and property of many people in both countries.

Rangsit University expresses its deepest condolences to the people of Myanmar and Thailand affected by this earthquake. We extend our support and heartfelt sympathies to the victims, the families of those lost, and everyone impacted by this tragic event. During this challenging time, we stand with you in solidarity and are committed to supporting recovery efforts and building resilience to overcome this crisis together.

We have opened a donation channel to help those affected. You can contribute to the Rangsit University Charity Account, account number 875-700530-4 (Bangkok Bank) from today until April 10, 2025.



จากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวครั้งใหญ่ เมื่อวันที่ 28 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2568 ที่เกิดขึ้นในประเทศเมียนมา และประเทศไทย ได้สร้างความเสียหายอย่างรุนแรงต่อชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของประชาชนชาวเมียนมา และประเทศไทย เป็นจำนวนมาก

มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต ขอแสดงความเสียใจอย่างสุดซึ้งต่อประชาชนชาวเมียนมา และประเทศไทย ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวในครั้งนี้ เราขอส่งกำลังใจและความห่วงใยไปยังผู้ประสบภัย ครอบครัวของผู้สูญเสีย และทุกคนที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์อันน่าสลดใจนี้ ในช่วงเวลาแห่งความยากลำบากนี้

📚 Prepping for the Mock Debate – RSU Debate Society in Action! 🎤

As soon as the motion title was announced, both the Government Team and Opposition Team dived into intense preparation for our Mock Debate Session! 📝💡 Armed with their notes, strategies, and teamwork, they worked through arguments, counterarguments, and speech structures to build a strong case.

From brainstorming ideas to refining their delivery, this session was all about critical thinking, collaboration, and quick-witted responses. It was great to see our members fully engaged, exchanging insights, and sharpening their debating skills. 🚀✨
