𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚 | 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 🤝
The Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology(FAST) recently hosted 24 distinguished delegates from 12 leading Indian universities and institutions at the AIT Library Video Conference Room on 26ᵗʰ May 2026, for a day of meaningful discussions on academic collaboration and research partnerships.
The event was hosted by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁, Dean of FAST, serving as a strategic platform to explore academic partnerships, cross-border collaborations, and future-forward educational frameworks in AI, Data Science, and Geospatial Technologies.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶 , Deputy Dean and Senior Professor at FAST, shared key insights on the value of international collaborations, emphasizing four critical areas including Experiential Learning, Joint Research, Dual Degree Programs, and short-term student and faculty exchanges.
Participating institutions included Dream Institute of Technology, Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pydah College of Engineering, Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology, LNCT University, Santhiram Engineering College, Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, SNJB's Late Sau. Kantabai Bhavarlalji Jain College of Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, KIIT University, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, and EduSkills.
The visit was initiated by Dr. Rishi Jain. FAST was further represented by Dr. Sien Minn, Ms. Alistina Shrestha, Mr. Hoang Minh Nguyen, Mr. Aakash Kurugayala, and Mr. Manoj Rao.
This also included a tour of AIT's Smart Digital Library and a glimpse of the AI Simulation Lab, giving delegates a firsthand look at the learning environment and research infrastructure at AIT.
A great step toward building stronger academic bridges between AIT and India's growing higher education community. 🌏
