❤️Because being a teacher begins with the heart and the act of giving, a lesson beyond the textbooks for MCRU English majors at the English on Tour camp. 🇬🇧

On 14 August, the Department of English, in collaboration with the Alumni Association, set off to bring knowledge and laughter to 83 upper primary pupils (Prathom 4-6) in the Ban Kha district (Ban Phu Bon Bon School, Namtok Huai Suan Phlu School, and Rotary 1 Ban Phu Nam Ron School).

During this "English on Tour" programme, we witnessed a truly proud moment as our second-year students fully embraced their roles as teachers. They thoughtfully designed activities, integrating songs and games to encourage the children in these small schools to open their hearts and genuinely enjoy English.🎉👏🎉👏

Today, our hearts are heavy with sorrow.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families, teachers, students, and everyone affected by the heartbreaking tragedy at Debsirin Nonthaburi School.

No words can truly ease the pain of such an unimaginable loss. May those we lost rest in eternal peace, may those who were injured find strength and healing, and may every grieving heart be surrounded by love, courage, and support.

A school should always be a place of dreams, hope, and safety — never a place of fear.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Debsirin Nonthaburi community during this incredibly difficult time. 🤍

May love be stronger than violence, and may peace find its way back into every classroom.🥹🥹🥹
