📣 นักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตกาญจนบุรี จำนวน 16 คน เข้าร่วม โครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการด้านการจำแนกนกชายเลนและเทคนิคการติดตามนกชายเลน สำหรับเยาวชนนักอนุรักษ์ ณ พื้นที่อนุรักษ์บ้านปากทะเล จังหวัด เพชรบุรี ระหว่างวันที่ 4–6 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2569 (ระยะเวลา 3 วัน 2 คืน)
การเข้าร่วมครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วย
หลักสูตรชีววิทยาเชิงอนุรักษ์ ชั้นปีที่ 2 จำนวน 13 คน
หลักสูตรชีววิทยาเชิงอนุรักษ์ ชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 3 คน
หลักสูตรวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อมและภัยพิบัติ ชั้นปีที่ 2 จำนวน 1 คน
โครงการดังกล่าวจัดโดย สมาคมอนุรักษ์นกและธรรมชาติแห่งประเทศไทย โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาทักษะภาคสนามและองค์ความรู้ด้านการอนุรักษ์นกชายเลน ผ่านกิจกรรมสำคัญ ได้แก่
-การจำแนกชนิดนกชายเลนจากลักษณะสัณฐานวิทยา
-การเก็บข้อมูลนกชายเลนในภาคสนามอย่างเป็นระบบ
-การจัดการและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรม Excel
วัตถุประสงค์ของการอบรม
-ระบุชนิดนกชายเลนอพยพจากลักษณะทางสัณฐานวิทยา
-ทำความเข้าใจเส้นทางการอพยพของนกใน East Asian–Australasian Flyway
-ประยุกต์ใช้เทคนิคมาตรฐานในการติดตามประชากรนกชายเลน
-เก็บรวบรวม จัดการ และตีความข้อมูลภาคสนาม
-เสริมสร้างทักษะการทำงานด้านการอนุรักษ์ในสถานการณ์จริง
-วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลพื้นฐานเพื่อสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจด้านการอนุรักษ์
กิจกรรมนี้เป็นการเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติและพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาให้พร้อมสู่การทำงานด้านชีววิทยาเชิงอนุรักษ์ในอนาคต
📣 Public Announcement
A total of 16 students from Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus, participated in the Training Workshop on Migratory Bird Identification and Shorebird Monitoring Techniques for Young Conservationists at Pak Thale Conservation Area, Phetchaburi, during 4–6 April 2026 (3 days, 2 nights).
The participants included:
13 second-year students in Conservation Biology
3 third-year students in Conservation Biology
1 second-year student in Environmental and Disaster Engineering
The workshop was organized by the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand and aimed to strengthen practical and analytical skills in shorebird conservation.
Key training activities included:
-Identification of migratory shorebirds based on morphological characteristics
-Field-based shorebird data collection using standardized protocols
-Data management and basic analysis using Excel
Objectives of the workshop:
-Identify migratory shorebirds using morphological traits
-Understand the East Asian–Australasian Flyway (EAAF)
-Apply standardized shorebird monitoring techniques
-Collect, manage, and interpret field data
-Develop practical skills for real-world conservation work
-Perform basic data analysis to support conservation insights
This activity provided valuable experiential learning opportunities and enhanced students’ competencies for future careers in conservation biology.
