İEÜ Tekstil ve Moda Tasarımı Bölümü “Moda düşüncelerimizde, yaşamımızda ve etrafımızda olan her şeydedir.” Coco Chanel

Moda ve Tekstil Tasarımı Bölümü kurulduğu 2001 yılından bu yana sürekli olarak kendini yenileyip moda/tekstil alanında değişen çevresel koşulları ve toplumsal beğenileri de yakından takip ederek uluslararası ölçekte, son derece kapsamlı bir eğitim programı sunar. Bu program çerçevesinde ilk iki yıl ortak eğitim alan öğrenciler üçüncü yıldan itibaren Moda ve Tekstil Tasarımı ile Moda İşletmeciliği alanlarında uzmanlaşma şansına sahip olurlar. Ayrıca alanları ile ilgili çok sayıda seçmeli dersin yanı sıra diğer fakültelerden de seçmeli ders alma şansına sahiptirler. Öğrenciler, her hafta düzenlenen seminerlerle alanında başarılı kişiler ile tanışma fırsatı yakalarlarken yer alınan ulusal ve uluslararası fuar organizasyonları, düzenli olarak açılan sergilerle ve yapılan teknik gezilerle daha eğitim dönemindeyken kendilerini sektörün içinde hissetmeye başlarlar. Mezun olduklarında fikirlerini yorumlayarak görselleştirebilen bireyler olarak fark yaratırlar.

Yaratıcı Endüstriler için Dijital Tasarım başvuruları açıldı!

Avrupa Birliği destekli EIT HEI Initiative kapsamında yürütülen “IDEAL – Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship and Academic Learning for Creative Industries” projesi çerçevesinde, İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi tarafından düzenlenen bu ücretsiz kısa eğitim programı; yapay zekâ destekli konsept geliştirme, Blender tabanlı 3B modelleme ve Meta Quest 3 VR başlıkları aracılığıyla sürükleyici 3B sunum süreçlerini bir araya getiriyor.

Program, İzmir’de tasarım alanıyla ilişkili bölümlerde öğrenim gören ve ikinci sınıfını tamamlamış lisans öğrencilerine açıktır. Program gerekliliklerini tamamlayan katılımcılar IDEAL proje sertifikası almaya hak kazanacaktır.

Applications are now open for Digital Design for Creative Industries!

Organised by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) within the framework of the “IDEAL – Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship and Academic Learning for Creative Industries” project, carried out under the European Union-supported EIT HEI Initiative, this free short training programme brings together AI-assisted concept development, Blender-based 3D modelling and visualisation, and immersive 3D presentation processes through Meta Quest 3 VR headsets.

The programme is open to undergraduate students in İzmir who study in design-related departments and have completed their second year. Participants who successfully complete the programme requirements will receive an IDEAL project certificate.

On June 15, the Department of Textile and Fashion Design proudly presented the 2026 Graduation Fashion Show.

As part of the FD 498 Graduation Project, this year’s collections explored the theme Re-Framing Fashion through the Moving Body and Relational Well-Being. Grounded in ethical, circular, and body-centered design, the project invited students to rethink the relationship between the dressed body, movement, and responsibility, while approaching well-being as an interconnected concept embracing the body, the individual, society, and the planet. Through experimental design methodologies, material exploration, and responsible fashion approaches, each collection reflected the students’ individual interpretation of the project theme.

Karşıyaka Belediyesi Bilge Çınarlar Sağlıklı Yaş Alma Merkezi’nde, Prof. Elvan Özkavruk Adanır, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ebru Öngen ve Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Elif Tekcan yürütücülüğünde bitkisel atıklarla ileri dönüşüm atölyesi gerçekleştirildi.

Atölyede, katılımcılar bitkisel atıkları yaratıcı yöntemlerle yeniden değerlendirme üzerine uygulamalar gerçekleştirdi.

A plant-based waste upcycling workshop was held at Karşıyaka Municipality Bilge Çınarlar Healthy Aging Center under the guidance of Prof. Elvan Özkavruk Adanır, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru Öngen, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Tekcan.

During the workshop, participants engaged in hands-on activities exploring creative ways to repurpose plant-based waste.
