For those who have received calls for interview.
They will generally check your English proficiency so be confident because there will be a psychiatrist and a visa officer conducting your interview and they will try to ask general or tricky questions to see if you are a legitimate student or not.
The questions would be:
1. University name, address and your course.
2. Why you have chosen this university any specific reason? (you can mention univeristy's ranking in Italy as well as its world ranking and other technical aspects)
3. Why you have chosen Italy for higher education, even though there are a lot more countries providing excellent education like UK, Germany, US, Canada and Australia. (You have to give valid reasons in your answers you can say like Italy is a fastest growing technical country in terms of education and technology etc. Moreover, you can mention an italian scientist who has made developments or who has discovered something in past in the area of your course and you can say like you are very influenced by his discoveries) this will a positive sign to the interviewer. Do not forget to take a look at Italian culture, food and leisure etc. these are not important though the interviewer can ask anything so you must be prepared for it.
4. Course content:
Login to your polito account and go to the course selection section where you have selected your course i.e. BS Mechanical, BS Electronics, MS Electronics and click on your selected course name (it's hyperlinked) and it will redirect you to your course content and subjects page. Take a look at your subjects, they might ask you for this.
5. LINE OF DIRECTION:
This is the most important part, if you have studied ICOM and going to Italy for BS Mechanical so it is a complete change in line of direction so you must give a valid reason for the change in line of direction.
6. Will you return to your home country after getting your degree?
Remember every question might be a bit tricky valid reasons will be required. These are a few general and important questions. Google now and search for everything and be prepared and be confident for your interview.
