Our NeDST Project Presented at MTCON 2026 💫

Our NeDST – New Dimensions in Tourism Sector Training project, carried out under KA220, was presented on an international academic platform at MTCON 2026 – 7th Conference on Managing Tourism Across Continents, held in Antalya.

The project team presented the paper titled “What do Stakeholders Need Digitally and Technologically? A Cross-Country Needs Analysis”, sharing findings on the digital and technological needs of tourism stakeholders from Türkiye, Austria, Greece, and Spain.

This presentation made an important contribution to the academic dissemination activities and international visibility of the NeDST project.

💡 From innovative ideas to tangible tools! Here's what the project will create:

Our main goal is to design and develop integrated training solutions for the tourism sector. To do this, we are working on several key results:

📚 An Innovative Training Curriculum: We'll develop comprehensive training materials focused on the technological and sustainable skills needed in today's tourism industry.

💻 A MOOC Platform: An open online course platform to make our training accessible to tourism professionals everywhere, developed by our partner Associació Meraki.

📱 A Mobile Application: A user-friendly app for both Android and iOS to support professionals on the go, developed by our partner KIST Consult.

🗺️ Immersive Digital Tours: We will create digital tours using AR and AI to promote the unique history and culture of our partner regions, led by INTERSIC.
