The Center for International and European Studies (CIES), Uluslararası İlişkiler Konseyi (UİK) and Institute of International Relations - ΙΔΙΣ invite you to the first Research Seminar as part of their joint project on "Turkey as a Partner and a Challenge for European Security". In this first Online Research Seminar, researchers will present their output of their joint thematic papers within the overall theme of Turkey as a Partner and a Challenge for European Security.
The Seminar is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 10 June between 14:00 and 16:00 (GMT+3) on Zoom.
In particular, the papers to be presented and their authors are:
"EU-Turkey Relations and the Impact of Brexit"

The "Turkey as a Partner and a Challenge for European Security project" is a joint initiative by the Center for International and European Studies at Kadir Has University, the International Relations Council of Turkey (IRCT), the Institute of International Relations at Panteion University of Athens funded by the Centre for Applied Turkey Studies (CATS) at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP)in Berlin. It seeks to explore the state of relations between the EU and Turkey by focusing on a number of thematic security-related areas of mutual interest through the publication of a number of joint research papers as well as the production of a policy report. The novelty of the project is that it is exclusively composed of Turkish and Greek academics and analysts that are working together provide a fresh perspective on the EU-Turkey relationship.
