As we all know that Cinema is the most strong and powerful medium which collaborates all the other medium of art form like music, dance, theatre, photography, painting and so on. As a technological art, crucially defined by its capacity for the automatic registration of sights and sounds, it is composed of pieces of the culture it represents. In order to recover the full discourse that films advan
ce, therefore, the student of film must be at once a historian and an interpreter of art, able to shift constantly between the objective examination of the context of a film and the subjective immersion in the experience it offers. Istanbul Sehir University is such a university which has the vision" to establish a global system wherein the relationship between individual and society and the one between society and nature are in harmony with each other" and which "aims to provide an intellectual atmosphere in which the epistemological, spiritual and artistic foundations of such a system can be freely investigated". To execute this idea of thought, like the other student clubs, ISTANBUL SEHIR UNIVERSITY CINE CLUB has formed.
