The Mission of Yasar University English Preparatory Class is to deliver high-quality English Language instruction to its students who are non-native speakers of the language. The Intensive English Program aims to furnish students with essential language skills to pursue their studies in their subsequent departments and/or programs as well as communicate effectively in their future social and profe

ssional lives. The Prep Class is fully committed to offering quality language instruction to its learners in a learner-centered environment. Recognizing that each language learner has individual preferences and need to act in the language, the Prep Class puts emphasis on learners attaining mastery in all four skills and gaining linguistic and communicative competence. In addition to these goals the instructors in the Prep Class constantly seek and apply a variety of language teaching methods and techniques that best fit the materials, learners, and the curriculum to promote self-directed learning. In order to involve and empower learners to achieve their educational goals, instructors act as facilitators and guides of the learning process where the learners are encouraged to make the most of curricular and extracurricular activities. It is also paramount that all stakeholders in the Prep Class are committed to teaching approaches and techniques conducive to learning by acknowledging and respecting personal differences and preferences. Through the application of this teaching philosophy, the Prep Class strives to create a rewarding learning experience.

Dear students 😌

I've decided to organize a student activity, which aims to raise student awareness in writing classes, and will hopefully help the participants to have a better understanding of the expectations in the exams.😊🌻

The main plan is to briefly demonstrate how you can work with checklists and keep track of your writing process before, during and after the tasks.💯💯💯

The student activity is designed for Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate students and will be held on Friday (01.04.2022, 11:00, Y306).

Hi everyone👋 Our school's lecturer Paula Fiadeiro continues her Portuguese sessions for those who are interested in discovering this beautiful language and the culture before enrolling to a SoFL-coded Modern Language course.
Also, another nice information to keep in mind is that enrolling to this course and learning Portuguese will take you to Portugal! There will be four scholarships for a summer course in Portugal granted by the Camoes Institute! Check the link on our profile to get an idea😉

Dear Prep Class Students🤗

This Friday (14.01.2022), we are having a speaking session in which we'll be talking about topics that are of importance to all of us (hot topics of the 21st century).🌞

The student activity is open to all levels (Repeat Alpha, Alpha, Bravo, Delta) and will hopefully give you the chance to not only practice your English speaking skills, but also meet new people.💯

Depending on the overall attendance and the student preference, we might do such a "We Gotta Talk About It..." session again.🙏

Those of you who are interested in joining us on Friday should have a look at the following topics:
