Coffee Talks
ERASMUS+ Coffee Talks event was held at AGU Campus on December 16, 2021, between 14.00-16.00. In this event, organized in partnership with Kayseri Chamber of Commerce and AGU Youth Factory, a few of our Erasmus students voluntarily participated and informed the other students regarding their Erasmus study and internship experiences. Also, they answered the questions of the participants. Likewise, AGU Youth Factory informed the audiences as regard to their youth exchange and training courses. In addition to this, Cengiz LEBLEBİCİ informed the students about the activities of the EU Information Centre of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce.

Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey, Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut visits the Kayseri Model Factory located on the Abdullah Gül University (AGU) Sümer Campus.

Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut came to Kayseri with his spouse Brigitte Landrut for a series of visits. At the Model Factory, Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, Chamber of Industry President Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Chamber of Commerce President Ömer Gülsoy, and Model Factory officials welcomed their delegation.

The Abdullah Gül University has been partnering with the United Nations within the frame of the UN75 campaign (UN 75th anniversary). This project included several activities and panel sessions gathering many AGU students, staff and stakeholders to debate on the different United Nations Global Challenges and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and formulate predictions and recommendations for the year 2045, which will also mark the UN's 100th anniversary.
A total of eleven "AGU-UN Dialogue" sessions were organized by our institution, each focusing on different UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and coordinated by different AGU experts with the participation of AGU students and alumni, as well as outside experts, coming from all continents. Reports compiling the findings of these sessions have been submitted to the UN75 platform for further use by the United Nations in their future decision- and policy-making processes.
As part of AGU’s approach to global challenges and societal impact, it is crucial that UN topics are addressed by the different university stakeholders and made public on the institutional platforms.

Within the frame of its partnership with the Global Solution Initiative (GSI) - international organisation proposing policy responses to major global problems, addressed by the G20, the G7 and other global governance fora - the Abdullah Gül University (AGU) created a Global Table for the GSI Digital Summit 2020.
The event, which focused on the topic "Global Crises & Disruptions: The Need for a New Generation of HEIs", was organized at the initiative of AGU Rector Prof. Dr. Ihsan Sabuncuoğlu and AGU Director of International Affairs Mr. Emeric Abrignani.
The content and outcomes of the Global Table are to be reviewed and discussed by the G20 for future policies and actions.
During the online event, keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Sabuncuoğlu had the pleasure of exchanging with panelists Prof. Dr. Dong-Sung Cho (Chariman, Institute for Industrial Policy Studies), Prof. Dr. Thomas Froehlicher (Director General and Dean, Rennes School of Business) and Prof. Dr. Ellen Hazelkorn (Founding Partner, BH Associates).
