April 1999: Admitted to Hokkaido University Graduate School of Science, Master's Program in Physics

(Research on elucidating the mechanism of cuprate high temperature superconductors using STM/STS)

March 2001 Same as above completed

March 2009: Obtained degree (PhD (Engineering)) from Nagoya University Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Crystal Materials Engineering, with a thesis.

(Research on electrodes and heterostructures of GaN-based HEMT)

演講主題：Recent Topics on GaN Substrates and Epitaxial Materials for RF/Power Devices"

GaN has made great achievements in opto devices. Recently, it is being applied to electrical equipment. RF high power devices are already in many places, especially in base stations and military applications. Now, these materials are being applied to power devices. In this lecture, the latest information on the technology of GaN-based materials used in these applications are reported.
