Spent an incredible day in Beppu diving deep into the heart of Japanese craftsmanship and regional industry. It’s fascinating to see how tradition isn’t just preserved here but is lived.

📍 Beppu City Traditional Bamboo Crafts Center
Witnessing the intricate geometry of bamboo weaving was a lesson in patience and precision. Every piece tells a story of heritage, turning a simple natural material into functional art.

📍 Sanwa Shuzo
A deep dive into the world of Japanese spirits. Seeing how Sanwa Shuzo balances traditional brewing techniques with modern business scaling (especially for the world-renowned iichiko) provided so much insight into successful brand.

What an incredible night at the NYCU Indigenous Night! Our GMBAer Jackie won first prize in the singing competition! 🥇✨

It was a beautiful night of cultural exchange. Seeing our international students come together to experience the Taiwanese culture through music and art is what campus life is all about.

A huge thank you to our speaker for an incredible Southern Vietnam session at today’s Brown Bag Lunch! 🇻🇳✨

It was fascinating to dive into the region’s rich culture and history. One of the most surprising things was discovering the linguistic connections between Vietnamese and Chinese languages —it’s amazing to hear how some pronunciations are so similar! 🗣️🌏
