The Chalmers International Taiwan Office is one of a kind. Every year the office also publishes two issues of the Asia Magazine. Feel free to contact us!

The Chalmers International Taiwan Office is a cooperation with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University that enables Chalmers University of Technology and its students to have a strong connection between Chalmers and Eastern Asia. In 2003 Chalmers University of Technology gave a group of students the opportunity to start up an office at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in Taiwan. Chalmers Int

ernational Taiwan Office enables Chalmers University of Technology and its students to position themselves in Eastern Asia, a region which has undergone an amazing economic development during the last decades. Combined with the exchange program with NCTU the Chalmers International Taiwan Office gives Chalmers students great opportunities. Apart from the exchange studies the office members visit companies and institutions in the East Asian region on the account of the office. The magazine contains articles about the latest technological and economical development in East Asia as well as practical information for those interested in studying or working in East Asia. This site is for those interested in taking part in the exchange between Chalmers and NCTU.

Today, we had the opportunity to visit the TSMC Museum of Innovation, located next to TSMC's global headquarters and Fab 12A in the Hsinchu Science Park! 🔬

It was amazing to see the journey of how TSMC became a global semiconductor powerhouse and to learn more about the incredible engineering behind the chips that power our world. Definitely a must-visit for anyone passionate about technology and innovation!

Making the day even better, we were joined by a student from Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, for a joint Swedish university study visit 🤝

Last week, we had the opportunity to travel to Tokyo for an exciting study visit to several Swedish organizations to learn more about innovation, industry and business culture in Japan.

A big thank you to OSI Tokyo - Office of Science and Innovation at Embassy of Sweden in Japan, Business Sweden, Saab Japan, Ericsson Japan, Volvo Group Japan and Carl Eklund for welcoming us and sharing valuable insights during our visits.

We were also very happy to include local Chalmers students currently on exchange in Tokyo in several of the visits, which led to many great discussions and new connections along the way.

Thank you again to everyone we had the pleasure of meeting!

At the end of April, we had the opportunity to visit Singapore and connect with Swedish companies operating in the region.

During our stay, we visited SEB and Stena Bulk, where we had insightful discussions and gained valuable perspectives on the Singaporean market and how Swedish organizations operate across Asia.

Besides the company visits, we also had the chance to explore the city and experience everything Singapore has to offer.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us and share their experiences. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and look forward to staying in touch!

At the beginning of February, we visited Bangkok to further strengthen our connections in Thailand.🇹🇭
During our stay, we had the pleasure to meet with Flexy Vacuum cups, Rapid Asia, The Swedish Embassy in Bangkok, and Candela. We also attended a lovely Young Professionals networking event hosted by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Thailand.

These visits were highly informative and provided valuable insights into both the local companies and to international work and collaboration. We are grateful to everyone who welcomed Louise and generously shared their knowledge and experiences about their trades. We have learnt a lot!

Thank you to all of our hosts for your warm hospitality and for the engaging discussions. We look forward to the future and future visits to Thailand from CITO🇹🇭🇸🇪🇹🇼
