簽署合作備忘錄（MOU）

2025年7月1日高餐大正式與泰國宋卡王子大學（Prince of Songkla University, PSU）簽署MOU，展開雙方在教學與研究上的交流合作。PSU觀光學科為全泰國第一，學術實力堅強、國際連結廣泛。此次簽約亦與該校人文社會學院合作，將深化雙方在語文教育、泰語證照推動、教學與研究等多元面向的交流。

此次簽約將深化兩校在師生交流與海外實習等面向的合作，拓展學生的國際視野，也為本校跨文化教育再添一筆亮彩！

我們期待未來與PSU攜手，共創更多教育火花！

MOU Signing Ceremony

On 1st of July, 2025, National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prince of Songkla University (PSU), a top-tier comprehensive university in southern Thailand known for its strengths in humanities, tourism, and languages.

PSU’s tourism program is ranked No.1 in the country, with strong academic performance and extensive global networks.

This partnership, also includes PSU’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, will further enhance collaboration in language education and Thai language proficiency certification, as well as broader teaching and research exchanges.

We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with PSU and to creating new milestones in global education together!

高餐大全英碩士學程於6月赴菲律賓參與 ICRTH 2025，與來自英國、馬來西亞、印尼、泰國、越南等地的學者進行交流。共計10篇研究全數獲選發表，涵蓋生成式AI、文化遺產、動物倫理、永續教育等議題，展現本校師生於觀光與餐旅領域的學術深度與社會關懷。

其中，更榮獲多項大會獎項肯定，並參與「旅遊教育未來想像」論壇及國際責任領導圓桌會議，深化跨國合作關係。未來，我們將持續走向世界，強化國際對話，為觀光餐旅永續發展貢獻力量。

🎓【ICRTH 2025｜International Academic Engagement】
From June 16–18, NKUHT’s International Master’s Program in Tourism and Hospitality joined the ICRTH 2025 in the Philippines, sharing the stage with scholars from the UK, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and beyond. Our students and faculty presented 10 papers on topics including generative AI, cultural heritage, animal ethics, and sustainability education—all accepted for presentation.

Several works received top honors, and our team led key sessions such as the “Rethinking Tourism Education Futures” forum and the Responsible Leadership Council roundtable. As we expand global engagement, we remain committed to shaping the future of responsible and sustainable tourism.

高雄餐旅大學正式通過 THE-ICE（The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education）認證，象徵本校在旅遊、餐旅、休閒及相關專業領域的教學品質獲得國際肯定。
此次評鑑展現我們持續推動教學創新與教育國際化的努力與成果。
特別感謝兩位來訪本校進行審查的國際評鑑委員 Dr. Thomas Bauer 與 Dr. John Fong的專業意見與深度交流為我們帶來寶貴的啟發與成長。

We are pleased to announce that the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism has successfully passed the accreditation audit by THE-ICE (The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education).
This achievement recognizes the quality of our programs in hospitality, tourism, leisure, and related fields, and underscores our commitment to innovation and internationalization in education.

On April 24, 2025, we were pleased to welcome faculty members and representatives from Batangas State University for an engaging exchange on higher education development. The discussion covered a range of topics, including industry-academia collaboration, student internships, and international partnerships. Both institutions identified strong similarities in academic programs, especially in applied technology and practice-oriented disciplines, paving the way for promising future cooperation.

【泰國 Walailak University 蒞臨參訪】

2025年4月22號高餐大有幸接待來自泰國 Walailak University 的副校長 Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp 及貴賓代表團蒞臨參訪。

Walailak University 設有醫學、科學與技術、管理、農業、工程、人文社會等多元學院，擁有先進的教學與研究設施。作為泰國教育部重點支持的旗艦型大學之一，該校積極培育具備全球視野之人才，並在國際交流與學術合作方面表現卓越。

會後，代表團亦參觀本校各系教學設施，對本校優質的學習環境印象深刻。特別是在烘焙系學生的成果展示中，無論是產品的挑選或現場試吃，皆充分展現學生紮實的實作能力，獲得來賓一致肯定與讚賞。

本次參訪不僅促進雙方了解，更為未來合作奠定堅實基礎。高餐大期盼與 Walailak University 持續深化交流，攜手推動更多元的國際教育與學生發展機會。

Visit from Walailak University, Thailand

On April 22 , NKUHT had the honor of welcoming Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President of Walailak University, along with a distinguished delegation from Thailand.

Walailak University comprises a wide range of colleges, including those in medicine, science and technology, management, agriculture, engineering, and the humanities and social sciences. Equipped with state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, the university is one of Thailand’s flagship institutions supported by the Ministry of Education, and is actively dedicated to nurturing globally minded talents while demonstrating strong performance in international collaboration and academic exchange.

Following the meeting, the delegation toured various departments and facilities across the NKUHT campus. They were particularly impressed by the university’s high-quality learning environment. A highlight of the visit was the demonstration by students from the Baking Department, whose carefully selected products and hands-on presentation earned high praise from the guests.

This visit not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. NKUHT looks forward to strengthening ties with Walailak University and jointly advancing diverse opportunities in international education and student

美國16所知名大學代表齊聚高餐大 促進國際學術與文化交流】

國立高雄餐旅大學於2025年3月20號舉辦國際學術交流活動，邀請來自美國16所知名大學的代表蒞臨參訪，透過「傅爾布萊特計畫」（Fulbright Program）推動雙邊學術合作與教育交流，增進師生對國際教育資源的了解，拓展全球視野。

活動中，美國大學代表分享美國高等教育體系的特色與申請建議，並介紹傅爾布萊特計畫提供的獎助機會與交流平台。高餐大亦安排國際學生現身說法，分享在校學習與生活經驗，充分展現本校以實務導向為核心的「三明治教學法」教學模式。

同時，中餐廚藝系由許榮麟老師帶領學生以道地台灣美食款待來賓，展現餐旅專業訓練成果與台灣飲食文化內涵，讓來賓透過味蕾感受台灣的熱情與高餐大的教學實力。

本次活動不僅強化高餐大與美國高等教育機構的連結，更彰顯本校在推動國際化與餐旅教育發展上的積極作為與卓越成果。

Representatives from 16 U.S. Universities Visit NKUHT to Promote International Academic and Cultural Exchange

On March 20, 2025, National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) hosted a major international academic exchange event, welcoming representatives from 16 well-known U.S. universities. Supported by the Fulbright Program, the event aimed to foster bilateral cooperation in higher education and provide NKUHT students and faculty with valuable insights into global academic opportunities.

During the visit, U.S. university representatives introduced the structure of American higher education, shared tips on study abroad applications, and encouraged participation in Fulbright-sponsored programs and scholarships. International students currently studying at NKUHT also shared their personal experiences, highlighting the advantages of the university’s unique “sandwich teaching model,” which integrates academic learning with practical training.

To showcase Taiwan’s rich food culture and NKUHT’s professional excellence, students from the Department of Chinese Culinary Arts, under the guidance of Instructor Hsu Jung-Lin, prepared a selection of traditional Taiwanese dishes. Guests were treated to an authentic culinary experience, reinforcing NKUHT’s belief in promoting cultural exchange through gastronomy.

This event not only deepened connections between NKUHT and U.S. higher education institutions, but also underscored the university’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and excellence in hospitality and tourism education.
