Introduction to the Student Association (SA)

Being a part of our program’s Student Association (SA) is a huge opportunity for students. The SA is run by a president and two Vice-Presidents who are elected by their fellow program mates every semester. The job of the SA is to collaborate with different parties to form events and organize activities for all of you!

Our faculties have a lot of events throughout the year, including a Halloween party, visits to local businesses, graduation parties, proms, Christmas celebrations, and outdoor activities. These events are integral parts of our academic and social calendar, fostering a sense of community and providing valuable experiences outside the classroom.

Being involved in the SA not only gives the members a chance to enhance their resumes and network with CEOs, alumni, and various vital entities, but also offers a monthly stipend. Running for the SA will help you arm yourself with crucial management skills like leadership, communication, organization, and more. It's a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the vibrant life of our program while developing essential skills for your future endeavors.

🌏✨ From Consulting to Global Business — Meet Shikhar Deep from India【Senior Experience Sharing】 ✨🌏

Shikhar, a 26-year-old student from India, is currently pursuing his International Business MBA (IBMBA) at National Sun Yat-sen University. With a background in Computer Science and three years of consulting experience, he chose Taiwan after a memorable undergraduate exchange experience introduced him to its interactive and international learning environment. Returning to NSYSU for his MBA was a purposeful decision—and one that has exceeded expectations.

At IBMBA, Shikhar values the strong emphasis on collaborative, real-world projects in international business. Working with classmates from diverse cultural backgrounds has strengthened his cross-cultural teamwork skills and broadened his approach to problem-solving. Transitioning from tech and consulting into business studies has been both challenging and rewarding, especially in finance and strategy, where he can directly connect theory with his prior consulting experience.
