要在甲骨上留下線條必須反覆練習，這種練習痕跡被稱為「習刻」。史語所藏的登錄號R024974「刻劃獸骨殘片」是一片習刻甲骨，內容卻不是卜辭，而是畫了一隻老虎、兩隻刻法不同的猴子，一隻在火上的馬，和一隻在箭下的鳥。這些動物的形象活潑生動，雖是習刻，卻是早期珍貴的美術史料。

The IHP owns an incised bovid scapula (no. R024974), an oracle bone on which several animals have been engraved, including two monkeys, one tiger, one horse above fire, and one bird beneath an arrow. These rather lively depictions, however, were created for the purpose of engraving practice rather than conventional divination. Nonetheless, they are regarded as valuable artifacts for understanding early art history.

演講摘要：

早在1690年代，在瑞典的烏普薩拉大學有學者發表關於中國歷史的學術論文。自從這時起，有人關注中國，從事有關中國和中國文化的研究。在他的演講，羅多弼教授將介紹瑞典漢學史中的一些主要階段、趨勢和貢獻，比如1840–1950年傳教士的學術活動、19世紀末和20世紀初現代科學方法的突破、高本漢（1889–1978）和馬悅然（1924–2019）兩位教授的貢獻以及今日的情況。他也將談到漢學在瑞典社會的地位和功能。

世界著名漢學家，為瑞典斯德哥爾摩大學中文系名譽教授及瑞典皇家文學、歷史和考古學院院士。曾擔任斯德哥爾摩中國中心主任、斯德哥爾摩孔子學院院長、中國北京師範大學客座教授及香港城市大學客座教授。主要研究領域為中國思想史及中國歷史，發表著作及文章探討中國歷史、政治和語言等議題。
