【重要國際對話：駐台印度代表到訪中正大學】
Important International Dialogue: Leaders of the India Taipei Association Visit National Chung Cheng University

✨ 3日，駐台印度代表、印度台北協會會長德寧瀚（Ninad S. Deshpande） 與副會長查文雅（Vinayak Prataprao Chavan） 蒞臨國立中正大學，與校內師長展開正式交流。這次拜會意義深遠，亦進一步深化雙方既有合作。

🤝 本次交流由工學院熊博安 Pao-Ann Hsiung院長代表接待，與理學院陳永恩院長、工學院邱志義副院長、製商整合研究中心黃士銘主任、機械系陳永松主任、電機系吳元康主任、資工系黃耀廷主任 及相關師長，就智慧城市、科技應用、產業鏈結與人才培育等議題進行交流，進一步深化長年累積的臺印合作基礎。

💬 會後，德寧瀚會長與查文雅副會長特別到訪AI 中心，並與校內印度籍師生展開對話交流。師生代表 Dr. Nidhi、Dr. Devesh Barshilia、Dr. Ayush Pratap、Akash Raj Patel 與 Basil Rari 也進行簡短分享，介紹在臺學習與研究經驗。

🌏 德寧瀚會長並勉勵在場同學、印度籍教授與博士後研究員，在臺灣學習、研究與生活的同時，也能成為代表印度的 「學術大使（Student Ambassadors）」，以專業與行動促進更深厚的國際理解與合作。

跨國界的團圓祝福，在中正大學一起圍爐迎新春🧧✨

2/10 國立中正大學舉辦「外籍師生春節文化體驗暨圍爐活動」，來自馬來西亞、巴基斯坦、泰國、印度、越南、印尼等多國師生齊聚一堂；一桌年菜、一句祝福，讓這場相聚不只是過年聚餐，更像是一場跨文化的「國際大家庭團圓」。

本次活動由中正大學人工智慧與永續發展研究中心（AI 中心）主辦，並感謝工學院、國際事務處攜手合作，把對國際師生的重視化成一份真實的陪伴，讓大家在異鄉也能感受到家的溫度。工學院院長熊博安 Pao-Ann Hsiung也提到，國際師生是校園研究與交流的重要動能，學校除了提供優質的學術與研究環境，也希望透過具代表性的節慶活動，讓大家在緊湊的研究生活之餘，更自然地融入臺灣、融入中正——在這裡安心學習、長期深耕。

下午的文化體驗課程由蔡宛諭老師（Phoebe）帶領大家認識年節習俗，從十二生肖到各種俏皮的年節禁忌，笑聲此起彼落；迎接 2026 馬年，大家也學會了「馬到成功、龍馬精神、一馬當先」等吉祥話，還第一次拿起毛筆寫春聯，紅紙一攤開，年味立刻拉滿！

晚上圍爐更是重頭戲🍽️
長年菜、水餃、魚、年糕、蘿蔔糕……每一道都是滿滿好兆頭。大家邊吃邊聊，也邀請不同國家的同學分享家鄉年節文化，才發現：慶祝方式或許不同，但「團圓」與「祈福」的心意，全世界都一樣。

最後的「吉祥話領紅包」把氣氛推到最高點🎁
外籍師生大方拜年、領到裝著金幣巧克力和糖果的紅包，笑聲和祝福一起帶回家——也讓這個新春，在異鄉多了一份「像家人一樣」的溫暖。

【從「解決問題」出發，打造智慧城市的未來 💡】

AI 真的能解決所有問題嗎？在與 Alliance University 的對談中，本中心主任熊博安 Pao-Ann Hsiung點出一個很核心的提醒：
「很多時候，大家急著解決問題，卻還沒搞清楚真正的問題是什麼——這才是最大的問題。」

這場訪談不只談技術，更談「為什麼做、要解決誰的困境」。幾個讓人很有感的重點如下：
✅ 問題導向的研究：AI（例如監視系統/CCTV）不該只用來「監控」，也能用來保障漁工的人權與安全，讓科技真正站在弱勢的一方。
✅ 聯邦學習（Federated Learning）：在隱私與頻寬限制下，透過邊緣端分散式學習，讓智慧城市更有效率、也更務實可行。

今天很榮幸接待臺大校友會來到中正大學 CCU AI Center 參觀交流，謝謝大家帶來許多寶貴的觀點與建議。

本次交流以「智慧城市指揮與監控」情境為主軸，聚焦 AI 如何在治理現場支援即時資訊整合、事件告警與決策協作，讓系統不只是看見問題，更能支撐流程與行動。

A Warm Welcome to the NTU Alumni Association for Their Visit

It was a great pleasure to welcome the NTU Alumni Association to the CCU AI Center at National Chung Cheng University for a visit and in-depth exchange. Thank you for sharing so many valuable insights and constructive suggestions.

Centered on the “Smart City Command & Control” scenario, our discussion focused on how AI can support real-world governance operations—enabling real-time information integration, event alerts, and collaborative decision-making—so that systems not only detect issues, but also support actionable workflows and responses.

Key discussion areas included:
• Technology-enabled enforcement: scenario recognition, risk prompts, and integrated evidence collection workflows
• Digital government & governance: cross-system data integration, dashboards, and decision support
• Real-time monitoring: multi-source video streaming, event alerts, and traceable review/analysis
• Drone applications: aerial patrols, mission planning, and real-time data transmission

We especially appreciate the thoughtful questions raised by alumni—from system performance and institutional processes to privacy and public acceptance. This exchange reaffirmed an important point: for technology to truly work in governance settings, success is not only about features, but about being stable, verifiable, and seamlessly integrated into existing operational workflows.

We look forward to continued exchanges and future collaboration as we work together to advance safer, smarter, and more trustworthy urban governance.

🌍【深化TEEP國際教育｜國際學員參訪航太龍頭漢翔】

為推動教育部「全球優秀青年學子來臺蹲點計畫（Taiwan Experience Education Program, TEEP）」並深化國際交流，AI中心於10月16日帶領來自馬來西亞、法國、泰國、印尼、印度及臺灣的國際學員，前往臺灣航太龍頭—漢翔航空工業股份有限公司參訪。

此次參訪由Pao-Ann HsiungAI中心主任熊博安教授率隊，透過產學對話，讓學員了解人工智慧在高科技製造業中的應用趨勢。學員們與漢翔公司資訊處方一定處長進行深度交流，聚焦探討生成式AI（Generative AI）與AI代理人（AI Agents）如何協助提升設計創新、知識整合與決策效率，體現AI不僅是輔助工具，更是推動產業智慧化的重要夥伴。

自2017年執行TEEP計畫以來，AI中心已接待超過200位國際實習生，致力於培育具跨文化視野與實務能力的AI人才。本次參訪讓學生親身感受臺灣航太產業的創新精神，也見證AI於產業轉型中的實際價值。

來自印度的學員Tushar分享：「這次參訪讓我看到生成式AI在設計與溝通上能發揮巨大效益，也讓我對AI的應用有更深的想像。」馬來西亞的學員Junaid則表示：「AI代理人能協助不同部門協作，這樣的應用非常值得學習。」

下午行程，國際學員們前往彰化鹿港老街，透過導覽與文化巡禮，感受臺灣歷史城鎮的風貌與人文底蘊，從科技到文化，展開一場兼具知性與感性的學習旅程。

To promote the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) initiated by the Ministry of Education and to further strengthen international exchange, the AI Center at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) led a group of international participants from Malaysia, France, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and Taiwan on an industrial visit to Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC)—Taiwan’s leading aerospace enterprise—on October 16.

The visit was led by Professor Pao-Ann Hsiung, Director of the AI Center. Through an engaging industry–academia dialogue, students gained valuable insights into the application trends of artificial intelligence in high-tech manufacturing. They also had an in-depth discussion with Mr. Fang Yi-Ting, Director of AIDC’s Information Department, focusing on how Generative AI and AI Agents can enhance design innovation, knowledge integration, and decision-making efficiency. The exchange highlighted that AI is not merely a supporting tool but an essential partner in driving industrial intelligence and transformation.

Since launching the TEEP program in 2017, CCU’s AI Center has hosted over 200 international interns, dedicated to cultivating AI talents with cross-cultural vision and practical capabilities. This visit allowed participants to witness Taiwan’s innovative spirit in the aerospace industry and experience the real-world value of AI in industrial transformation.

Tushar from India shared, “This visit opened my eyes to how Generative AI can play a major role in design and communication—it really expanded my imagination of AI applications.” Junaid from Malaysia added, “AI Agents can facilitate collaboration across departments—an approach that is truly worth learning from.”

In the afternoon, the group visited Lukang Old Street in Changhua, where they explored the town’s historic charm and cultural richness through guided tours. The journey offered a well-rounded learning experience that beautifully blended technology and culture, intellect and emotion.
