LPU-Batangas proudly celebrates another significant milestone in its internationalization journey as it becomes a member of the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) and strengthens its academic network through partnerships and collaborations with more than 60 universities across Asia.
This remarkable achievement affirms LPU-Batangas’ growing presence in the Asian higher education landscape and its commitment to providing globally responsive, future-ready, and industry-driven education.
Through the leadership of Dr. Peter P. Laurel, President of LPU-Batangas, and as represented by Dr. Conrado I. Dotong, Assistant Vice President for Student Services, the University continues to build meaningful international linkages with distinguished higher education institutions.
LPU-Batangas takes pride in forging this partnership with NCNU, one of Taiwan’s top universities, recognized in international rankings, under the leadership of Dr. Dong-Sing Wuu, President of National Chi Nan University and President-Elect of the Hanseatic League of Universities.
More than a partnership, this milestone is a strategic step toward expanding opportunities for student mobility, faculty collaboration, research engagement, cultural exchange, innovation, and global learning experiences.
As LPU-Batangas continues to excel in Asia, it remains steadfast in its mission to develop globally competitive Lyceans and strengthen its role as an industry-driven university in the Asia-Pacific Region and beyond.
This achievement also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as LPU-Batangas continues to advance inclusive, globally connected, and future-ready higher education through meaningful international collaboration.
