The Global Mutirão for Sustainable Architecture – Earth Day 2026 is a youth-led international action bringing together students from up to 20 countries to co-create a lightweight sustainable public pavilion in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

The program includes a two-day, one-night hands-on sustainable construction activity (April 18–19) led by professional technicians, followed by participation in an official World Earth Day public presentation on April 22, where selected participants may be invited to engage in individual media interviews to share their experiences and program outcomes.

Participation is fully supported, including transportation, meals, a work-based stipend, pre-program training, and an official English certificate aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Places are limited, and applicants will be selected through a brief review and discussion process.

「Special Recognition for NSTC Grant Recipients at 2025 IC Conference」

Dear Colleagues,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing regarding your advisees who have received NSTC research grants this academic year. We are pleased to provide them with a special opportunity to showcase their research at the upcoming 2025 IC Conference on May 23rd, 2025.

The conference organizing committee has developed a dedicated program to highlight these outstanding students‘ work through three key components:

• A featured morning session (10:00-12:00) where they will present their research to the conference audience
• An invitation to publish their work in the conference proceedings
• A special mentorship opportunity in the afternoon session (13:30-15:30), where they will participate in a program engaging with high school students interested in academic research

This program has been designed to provide valuable presentation experience, networking opportunities, and recognition of their scholarly achievements. The committee considers this showcase a highlight of our conference and hopes that all NSTC grant recipients will be able to participate.

Could you please discuss this opportunity with your advisee and begin preparing them for their presentation? We will follow up by March 17, 2025 with specific guidelines for their presentations and papers.
