東華大學華原住民民族學院母語屋於2013年9月成立，由一群對語言有高度興趣及憂心族語流失的學生們，自發性組織而成的語言保存工作小組─母語屋。希望藉由「母語屋」的成立，能達到語言保存的目標，凝聚對語言有興趣的人士，並營造對各族群母語的友善空間。
