本大賽是由教育部高等教育司主辦與推動、財團法人溫世仁文教基金會與財團法人看見台灣基金會共同贊助以及國立臺灣科技大學建築系執行的專案計畫。本大賽為鼓勵更多優秀設計學子，增設獎項數量，並由「教育部高等教育司」與「財團法人看見台灣基金會」共同贊助與全球21個以上國際設計組織授權合作設置獎項，總獎金高達新臺幣400萬元、免報名費及參展費。另外，今年廠商指定類則由「財團法人電路板公益基金會」贊助，期望實質引導同學思考創意的落實，讓學界與產業接軌，歡迎國內外高中職以上學生踴躍參賽。


競賽類別分為「產品設計」、「視覺設計」、「數位動畫」、「建築與景觀設計」、「時尚設計」共五類。為激發學生創意能量，今年廠商指定獎由「財團法人電路板公益基金會」贊助，徵件主題為「環境永續」，徵求具有量產潛力的作品，以該基金會之願景主軸、服務精神等相關元素為創意發想，展現臺灣多元面貌，建立良好的國際形象。

The theme of 2025 TISDC is "Diversity" and five categories are included: Product Design, Visual Design, Digital Animation, Architecture & Landscape Design, and Fashion Design.

Jann Bungcaras is Glitching in as one of the honourable jurors for the .tw Taiwan International Student Design Competition 2026 for their Fashion Category.

Organized by the Ministry of Education (Taiwan) and executed by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, the Taiwan International Student Design Competition is now in its nineteenth year. The theme of this year’s competition is “Resilience.”

Last year, the competition attracted 16,239 entries from 1,029 schools and departments in 73 countries/regions around 6 continents.

I am truly excited to be inspired by this year’s submissions. Students all over the world can submit until July 06, 2026. Visit their website for full mechanics.

✱ 2026 TISDC 校園推廣暨循環經濟講座｜國立高雄科技大學 🎉

這次校園推廣由協同主持人陳俊智老師帶領TISDC前往國立高雄科技大學，向師生介紹 2026 TISDC 競賽資訊，分享參賽經驗與國際設計競賽趨勢，鼓勵同學們透過創意與設計實踐想法，將作品推向國際舞台。

✨ 本次活動特別邀請到 「好說設計」創辦人暨循環生活品牌「Hibāng 友漁循環眼鏡」創辦人歐世勳老師擔任專題講者，以「循環設計（Circular Design）」為主題，帶來精彩分享。

講座中，歐老師透過實際案例，分享如何將海洋廢棄漁網轉化為兼具功能性與美感的產品，並深入探討循環設計背後的核心思維：

🌊 將廢棄漁網再製為高價值產品，賦予資源第二次生命

🔄 從材料選擇、維修機制到回收模式，建立真正完整的循環系統

🛠️ 透過模組化設計延長產品使用壽命，降低資源浪費

✱ 2026 TISDC Campus Promotion & Circular Economy Lecture | National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology 🎉

As part of the 2026 Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC) campus promotion series, Co-Host Professor Chun-Chih Chen led the TISDC team to National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) to introduce the 2026 competition, share insights from past participants, and discuss current trends in international design competitions. Students were encouraged to transform their creative ideas into impactful designs and showcase their talents on the global stage.

✨ We were honored to invite Mr. Shih-Hsun Ou, Founder of Good Point Design and the circular lifestyle brand Hibāng Recycled Fishing Net Eyewear, as our guest speaker. His lecture focused on the concept of Circular Design and its role in creating a more sustainable future.

Through real-world case studies, Mr. Ou demonstrated how discarded fishing nets collected from the ocean can be transformed into products that are both functional and aesthetically appealing. He also shared key principles behind circular design:

🌊 Converting discarded fishing nets into high-value products and giving waste materials a second life

🔄 Building a complete circular system through material selection, repair services, and product take-back mechanisms

🛠️ Extending product lifespans through modular design to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency

The lecture provided students with valuable insights into the practical application of circular design while inspiring them to explore how design can become a driving force for sustainable development and positive social impact.

今年 TISDC 與國立臺灣科技大學建築系合作辦理循環經濟工作坊，透過講座、設計討論與評圖交流，引導學生從材料應用、循環思維到永續建築等面向，探索設計如何回應環境挑戰。

✱ 2026 TISDC Call for Entries New Open | Perspectives from the 2025 Jury

🌏 Last year, under the theme of “Diversity,” TISDC brought together student works from around the world, showcasing diverse perspectives and strong research-driven design approaches — leaving a deep impression on ADC (The One Club for Creativity) CEO Kevin Swanepoel. ✨

Among them, a poster project exploring the balance between marine ecology and sea urchin populations stood out by transforming scientific research into a compelling visual narrative through precise data and thoughtful storytelling. 🌊💡

The judges also emphasized that truly meaningful design lies in solid “Research” — only through deep investigation and understanding can designers create work that is both beautiful and powerfully persuasive. ✨

✱ 2026 TISDC 校園推廣｜實踐大學循環經濟講座 ♻️✨

2026 TISDC 校園推廣活動本次來到實踐大學舉辦循環經濟講座，透過專題分享與案例交流，引導學生重新思考時尚設計、材料應用與永續發展之間的關係。✨

本場活動由 TISDC 協同主持人謝詠絮老師帶領推廣，並邀請金蓓雯設計師與同學分享，從零廢棄設計、再生材料應用到國際永續案例，帶領學生理解如何透過設計重新定義資源價值，並思考設計如何回應環境與社會議題。💡

✱ 2026 TISDC Circular Economy Lecture｜Shih Chien University ♻️✨

The 2026 TISDC Campus Promotion event was held at Shih Chien University with a special lecture on the circular economy, featuring topic sharing and case studies that encouraged students to rethink the relationship between fashion design, material applications, and sustainable development.✨

This session was led by TISDC Co-Director Hsieh Yung-Hsu, who introduced the TISDC platform to students, and invited fashion designer Pei-Wen Jin to share insights on zero-waste design, recycled material applications, and international sustainability cases. Through these examples, students explored how design can redefine the value of resources and respond to environmental and social challenges.💡

The event also included a TISDC competition introduction by Hsieh Yung-Hsu, presenting this year’s theme, “RESILIENCE,” and the competition directions. Students were encouraged to integrate sustainable thinking into their creative works, using design to respond to contemporary challenges while expanding their international perspectives and practical experience. 🚀
