五月中疫情再度爆發,嶺東科大立即啟動"停課不停學"機制,讓學期能順利進行與結束.當時華語文中心也立即與教師協商啟動線上教學,不僅將學校外籍生專班轉往線上授課,也將文化體驗課程馬上變成文化講座,即使課程轉到線上,師生互動仍舊活躍,展現嶺東充足的應變能力,線下與線上授課皆能應對.
Since the mid of May when COVID-19 broke out in Taipei, LTU had immediately carried out the policy of "School closes, but learning moves on". Therefore, the semester could end as it was scheduled. The CLC also turned its all face-to-face courses into online right afterwards. Even though this was so instant, our teachers were still able to motivate and interact with their students in fun fashion. This truely shows LTU's ability to confront and manage every sudden change and to teach in any kind of teaching environment. BIG SUCCESS!!

Keep calm and carry on!

Now Taiwan has been struggling with Covid-19. Schools are closed to protect their students and prevent its spread on campus. Nevertheless, students are still learning, but online. Even our Chinese class has gone online. Although the learning environment has changed, the fun remains the same. A new learning experience, checked!😁

May 5th, a day for starting learning Chinese...
The teacher came all the way to LTU, Taichung for a group of enthusiastic learners. No one knew what the teacher looked like, whether it's a he or she. When they met each other and exchanged greetings, the sparks were lit and have never stopped shining since then. All the students were so attentive and interactive in class. They all had a great time with the teacher, and expected to attend the second session next Wednesday. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Welcome Ms. Qin and our new foreign students from Iran and Vietnam!!

On May 6th, a super sunny day, Chinese Language Center held another cultural event on Rainbow Village, which gave the students the chance to learn more Chinese and experience the charm of the village. Specially, they not only learned about the military villages around Ling Tung Uni., but also how wall paintings can change the residence. As can be seen in the pictures, they were so happy to learn together and see how colors can make a living environment more lively and thriving. 🌞😀🌺🌈
