▍Dept. of Multimedia Game Development and Application Promotes Overseas Internships in Japan; Students Head to Tokyo to Connect with the Anime and Game Industry

To enhance students’ international perspective and practical professional abilities, the Department of Multimedia Game Development and Application at Hungkuang University launched the “ × × : International Internship Exploration Program” during the summer of 2026. Five students were selected to go to Tokyo, Japan for professional overseas internships. Assistant Professor Wang Wei-Ming from the Department accompanied the students to Japan to complete the first week’s settlement, workplace onboarding, course orientation, and internship counseling, helping the students successfully begin this rare international learning journey.

弘光科技大學 #餐旅管理系 校友 #林昱安 榮獲「2026 WUBC #世界終極調酒錦標賽」台灣冠軍（World's Ultimate Bartender Championship，簡稱 WUBC），12月將代表台灣參加這項全球調酒界極具有指標性的頂級賽事。林昱安說，大學參加調酒社開啟了對於調酒的喜愛，畢業後在知名飯店從事調酒工作，2年前創業，透過參加賽事與同業交流，可以讓自己持續精進專業！ #成為重要的人

帶各國好朋友一起玩AI 做珍奶 化妝品DIY!!!

我們正在舉辦一年一度為期兩週的 #暑假 #跨國混班 夏令營，共有來自14個國家35所夥伴學校的71位學生前來參加，課程除了基礎華語，還包括AI生成、皮拉提斯、化妝品調製、點心及手搖飲製作等學校科系特色課程。最讓外國學員津津樂道的是手搖飲課程中的珍珠奶茶調製教學，好奇地緊盯老師教學步驟，課程尾聲更開心地品嚐自己親手調製出聞名世界的台灣茶飲！

▍Welcoming International Summer Camp Participants from 14 Countries and 35 Partner Universities!!!
The annual held its opening ceremony on August 3rd. A total of 71 students from 35 partner universities across 14 countries are participating, alongside 6 faculty members from partner universities who attended the opening ceremony. The Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs (OICA) also recruited 48 Hungkuang students to serve as study buddies for the event. Over the two-week period, the participants will experience Hungkuang’s unique curriculum and Taiwanese culture.

美髮造型設計系系主任呂佩芸及廖晏伶老師帶領六位學生，前往澳洲墨爾本展開為期一年的海外實習。抵達墨爾本後，合作機構已依實習安排，將學生分送至各實習場域及住宿地點完成安頓，學生們即將展開實習旅程！ #成為重要的人

Lu Pei-Yun, Chair of the Department of Hair Styling & Design, together with Professor Liao Yen-Ling, led six students to Melbourne, Australia, to begin a one-year overseas internship. Upon their arrival in Melbourne, the partner institutions settled the students into their respective internship placements and accommodations according to the itinerary. The students are now ready to embark on their professional internship journey.
