2026 Fall Term Cultural Trip 🚌💨

This time, our cultural trip took us to Sheng-Hsing Station in Miaoli, where we explored a unique Hakka community and experienced Hakka culture through food, hands-on activities, and local stories! ✨

Everyone had the chance to make Lei Cha by slowly grinding tea leaves, sesame seeds, peanuts, and other ingredients until their natural oils were released. We also enjoyed chewy mochi and authentic Hakka dishes, learning more about Hakka food culture through each delicious bite. 🍵🥢
After lunch, we joined a guided tour around Shengxing Railway Station and listened to stories about the station and the old railway line. Along the way, we learned more about the history and special features of this historic station. 🚂

To end the trip, everyone also brought home a special railway limited-edition Kuai Kuai snack from Shengxing Railway Station as a fun souvenir from the day! 💚
Through this cultural trip to Miaoli, we hope everyone not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Taiwan, but also experienced local culture, tasted traditional food, and made lots of wonderful memories together! 📸✨
