成功大學 前身為“日治時代”臺灣總督府台南高等工業學校，1931年于台南市小東門外創校，為現在的成功校區。創校之初設有機械工學科、電氣工學科和應用化學科。1940年增設土木、建築、電氣化學等三科。1942年改制為台南工業專門學校。1946年3月改稱為“臺灣省立台南工業專科學校”，同年10月再升格為“臺灣省立工學院”，設有機械工程等6系。1956年改制為“臺灣省立成功大學 ”。1971年改制為“國立成功大學 ”至今。
