本研究中心致力於培育影音媒體企劃編導、製作人員，與訓練能申請公私立部門補助拍攝影片輔導金、獎補助以及國際影展競賽送件之學生。結合產業專業與學界研發能量，配合系所課程設計，培育卓越視訊傳播人才。
主要目標：
1.數位內容與學習（數位典藏、紀錄片)教材、技術與相關理論的開發與實作。
2.影片拍攝支援。
3. 協助申請獎補助與國際影展競賽送件。
4. 不定期舉辦國際拍片競賽或講座。
本研究中心成員於課餘參與國內外義工服務，鼓勵大學生下鄉發揮電影藝術的影響力，教導偏鄉兒童藝術影片拍攝或動畫製作，已服務區域包括台灣、大陸、泰緬邊境等，合作機會或計畫請email: [email protected]。
The institute is devoted to developing editors, directors, and producers of audio and video media p
rojects, and training students who can apply for film subsidiary grants and join in international film festivals and competitions. By integrating the studying and developing power of the industrial profession and the academic fields, the institute develops outstanding talents for video communication with department-designed courses. Teaching materials for digital content and learning (digital archive and documentary), development and practice of techniques and related theories.
2. Help with applying for subsidiary grants and sending works to international film festivals and competitions.
4. Improving international visibility remains one of teaching purposes of Department of Motion Pictures and Video Communication. It is powerful evidence that students from the department keep making outstanding performances in international film festivals in recent years, such as Golden Horse Digital Short Film Festival. They reach proud achievements in several competitions. Our recent award-winning works are the film nominated in Spanish, USA, UK, Greece, Venezuela Film Festivals. In the future, the institute will be devoted to sending works to international film festivals. Members of the institute also join in domestic and foreign volunteer services as their extracurricular activities. College students are encouraged to perform the impact of movie arts in the country and teach people in the country to take artist films or produce animations of children.
