Every night in Punjab, the lights go out.
Not just the bulbs—but the sense of normalcy, the calm, the comfort.
As the CEO of Verbum Academy, I’ve been speaking to our students, partners, and friends across the region. Each call paints a picture more vivid than any headline: classrooms falling silent, phones clutched in the dark, families huddled together hoping the night passes without sirens. Blackouts have become routine, but the tension never is.
Yet, through all this, what stays unshaken is the spirit of the Indian people—and the valor of those who stand watch while the rest of us try to sleep. Our Indian Army, with unyielding strength and silent sacrifice, keeps us from falling into chaos. Their courage doesn't always make it to the front page, but it defines every page of our lives.
We may be an academy of words, but tonight, words fall short.
To our soldiers: thank you.
To our students and citizens in Punjab: hold on, stay strong.
Peace is not the absence of war—it’s the presence of justice, courage, and resolve.
Jai Hind.
