台灣第一位女牧師
為台灣基督教道生院的創辦人

1953年在前金教會創辦「道生聖經書院」
李幫助牧師任院長；楊金寶長老任理事長
造就第一屆道生主僕
1956年道生遷址台北，購得土地
同時設立「延平教會」
並更名「道生神學院」
遷址並募捐購置新北投錫安山（現址）
興建學院教室、禮拜堂、圖書館以及師生宿舍。

李幫助牧師宣教異象
1、設立道生神學院--爾後增設道生聖樂學院。
2、開拓教會-原始目標100間。
3、興建老人安養院-供傳道人退休、安享餘生。
4、開辦幼稚園-讓年幼心靈認識主。
5、關心婦女-關懷弱勢，達成兩性平等。
