Learning Chinese In TKU, TAIWAN! Chinese Language Center of Tamkang University is honored with the result of an approved center in “The Accreditation of Mandarin Chinese Language Education Institutions” organized by Ministry of Education, R.O.C in 2015. Chinese Language Center of Tamkang University, located in the capital city of Taiwan, Taipei, was established in 1991, and since then we have provided an outstanding environment for learning Chinese. We have students from all over the world, our teacher are native speakers of standard Mandarin.And we also provide scholarship for students who are willing to participate our Chinese program.

【迎接國慶：走進總統府，認識台灣的歷史與文化】🇹🇼✨

適逢國慶前夕，淡江大學華語中心本月份的文化體驗活動特別帶領來自世界各地的華語生走進總統府，透過實地參訪與導覽，一起認識台灣的歷史與文化。

在參訪過程中，同學們認識了總統府的建築特色與歷史沿革，也了解這座重要歷史建築在台灣發展過程中的不同角色。透過導覽與現場觀察，大家從課堂走進真實的文化場域，對台灣有了更具體、也更貼近生活的認識。

對國際學生而言，這次參訪也是一次特別的跨文化學習經驗。大家除了認識台灣的歷史，也分享了自己國家的國慶習俗、國家象徵與文化記憶，在交流之中發現不同文化之間有趣的相似與差異。📸💫

國慶即將到來，也讓這次的參訪增添了特別的意義。從歷史建築、文化記憶到國家節日，同學們透過親身走訪，更深入地認識生活中的台灣。

【Welcoming Taiwan’s National Day: Exploring Taiwan’s History and Culture at the Presidential Office Building】🇹🇼✨

With Taiwan’s National Day just around the corner, this month’s cultural experience organized by the TKU Chinese Language Center brought international students from around the world to the Presidential Office Building for a special journey through Taiwan’s history and culture.

During the visit, students learned about the architectural features and history of the Presidential Office Building, as well as its different roles throughout Taiwan’s history. Through the guided tour and firsthand experience, students stepped outside the classroom and gained a more concrete and meaningful understanding of Taiwan.

For our international students, the visit was also a wonderful opportunity for cross-cultural learning. In addition to learning about Taiwan’s history, students shared their own countries’ National Day traditions, national symbols, and cultural memories. Through these exchanges, they discovered interesting similarities and differences between cultures. 📸💫

With National Day approaching, the visit took on a special meaning. From historic architecture and cultural memories to national celebrations, students had the opportunity to learn more about Taiwan through firsthand experience.

A special thank you to our teacher for organizing this meaningful visit, and to all the students for their enthusiastic participation! We look forward to our next cultural experience and to discovering more of Taiwan’s diverse and fascinating culture together. ❤️✨

【🌕月圓人團圓，一起畫出屬於自己的中秋風景！】

為迎接中秋佳節，淡江大學華語中心在9月23日-24日兩天特別安排「中秋團扇作畫」文化體驗活動，邀請同學們拿起毛筆，在一把把的團扇上揮灑創意。
從認識中秋節的文化到親手運用墨色與線條進行創作，每位同學都將自己的想法融入作品中。有的畫上花草、竹葉，有的加入月亮、玉兔等中秋元素，這次活動，也成為大家在臺灣學習華語期間特別的節慶紀念。✨
透過動手創作，同學們不僅體驗了傳統藝術的趣味，也更進一步認識臺灣的中秋節文化。看著大家專注作畫、開心展示完成的作品，就是這次活動最美好的風景！

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Tamkang University Chinese Language Center organized a special cultural experience activity, “Mid-Autumn Round Fan Painting,” on Sep. 23rd-24th, inviting students to pick up their brushes and express their creativity on traditional round fans.
From learning about the culture and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival to creating their own artwork with ink, lines, and brushstrokes, each student brought their own ideas to life. Some painted flowers and bamboo leaves, while others added classic Mid-Autumn elements such as the moon and the Jade Rabbit. This activity also became a special festival memory for our students during their Chinese-language learning journey in Taiwan. ✨
Through hands-on creation, students not only experienced the charm and fun of traditional art, but also gained a deeper understanding of Mid-Autumn Festival culture in Taiwan. Seeing everyone focused on their artwork and proudly sharing their finished fans was truly the most beautiful scene of the day!
A big thank you to all of our teachers for their support and assistance. Wishing everyone a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, filled with joy, togetherness, and a beautiful full moon! 🥮🌕💛

淡江大學推廣教育處華語中心數位研發組，即將成立：

🌟 AI 數位種子教師團隊（本中心華語教師）
本計畫將運用 Gemini Notebook × Gemini × Gemini Canvas，共同研發《時代華語》AI 數位教材，打造中心專屬的「華語 AI 智慧教學資源庫」。
目前預計招募 8 位具華語教學經驗及數位能力之教師。

📚 教材分組
預計分為 4 組，每組 2 位教師：
A 組｜《時代華語一》中文基礎+L1–L8
B 組｜《時代華語一》L9–L16
C 組｜《時代華語二》L1–L8
D 組｜《時代華語二》L9–L16
每位教師預計依實際分工負責 3～5 課。

【結業典禮暨成果發表會｜這不是結束，是全新的開始】
【Completion Ceremony & Final Presentation | Not the End, But a New Beginning】

這一天終於到來，我們迎來了 NSLI-Y 計畫的結業典禮暨成果發表會。回想剛來到台灣時，連用中文點餐都會緊張，而今天，我們已經能站在舞台上，全程用中文分享這段時間的學習成果與生活點滴。
在成果發表會上，大家展示了語言能力的進步、對在地文化的深刻體會，以及在各種參訪與活動中所獲得的啟發。台上流利的表達與精采的呈現，凝聚了我們無數個日子裡的努力與堅持。
典禮中充滿了歡笑與不捨，接過結業證書的那一刻，心中滿是感激。感謝老師們的耐心指導、寄宿家庭的溫暖陪伴，以及這段路上彼此扶持的夥伴們。
雖然在台灣的計畫告一段落，但我們的中文學習之路與文化交流使命才正要開始。帶著這份寶貴的經驗與珍貴的回億，我們將繼續勇敢前行！

The day finally arrived: our NSLI-Y Completion Ceremony and Final Presentation! Looking back at when we first arrived in Taiwan—when even ordering food in Mandarin felt intimidating—today we stood on stage and proudly presented our journey entirely in Chinese.
During the presentation, everyone shared their language progress, deep cultural insights, and key takeaways from our community visits and daily immersion. The confident speeches on stage reflected countless hours of hard work and dedication over the past months.
The ceremony was filled with laughter, tears, and deep gratitude. Holding our certificates of completion, we felt endlessly thankful for our teachers’ patient guidance, our host families‘ warm support, and the strong bonds built among fellow scholars.
While this program in Taiwan comes to an end, our language learning journey and role as cultural ambassadors are just getting started. Armed with these unforgettable experiences and cherished memories, we are ready to take on the future!

【新竹文化與科技之旅｜從新創前沿到客家底蘊】
【Hsinchu Cultural & Tech Journey | From Modern Innovation to Hakka Heritage】

先前我們造訪了新竹，在一天之內跨越最尖端的科技與最深厚的傳統文化，展開了一場精彩的探索！
上午我們來到新竹科學探索館，大家分小組尋找自己最感興趣的科技展品並進行主題介紹。透過用中文討論與分享創新技術，我們不僅練習了語言，也感受到了新竹作為科技重鎮的動能。
中午大家一起享用豐富的客家在地美食，親身品嚐道地的客家風味。
下午我們前往新瓦屋客家文化保存區，漫步在古樸的聚落中，欣賞獨特的傳統建築，感受客家人在地紮根的歷史與文化底蘊。這趟行程讓我們同時看見了新竹的現代活力與傳統美學，是非常難忘的回憶！

We previously visited Hsinchu for an exciting day trip that seamlessly blended cutting-edge technology with rich traditional culture!
In the morning, we explored the Hsinchu Science Exploration Museum. Working in small groups, we found interactive tech exhibits that sparked our interest and presented them in Mandarin—a fun challenge that connected language learning with Hsinchu’s vibrant tech scene.
For lunch, we enjoyed an authentic Hakka feast, experiencing the rich, comforting flavors of local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we visited the New Wawu Hakka Cultural Preservation Zone. Walking through the historical settlement, we admired the traditional architecture and learned about Hakka history and culture. It was an unforgettable journey highlighting both the modern innovation and deep heritage of Hsinchu!
