Dear friends of ISIS,
Having Dragon boat race on Dragon Boat Festival is a tradition that has lasted for over 2000 years in Chinese culture.

As 2012 is the year of Dragon, ISIS (Intl. students Info. Service) is now calling for a NTU Dragon Boat team for the 1st time.
Under the schools auspices, we’ve got experienced coach, training plan, and logistic support, all we need now is strong crews.

We need 27 people on team, and so far we have friends from different countries in our team.

There is still vacancies of 10 players, anyone is welcome to join or add anyone in to our FB page http://ppt.cc/9ApX

The training starts 4/10 (Tue), 06:00-08:00 AM on NTU football court. (Call Jeremiah @0981476915 is you can find us.)

Notifications:
1. Registration is complete upon receipt of member fee.
NTD 1600 for each, covering hire for the coach, registration fees for races, team T-shirts and others expenses.
Please pay it 4/8, 4/9 from 18:00 -21:30 at Global lounge.

2. We train through 4/10-6/23, every week.
Tuesday 06:00-08:00AM
Saturday 08:00-10:00AM
4/10 Tuesday is the first training day. Any changes or extra practices will be informed.We train on land at NTU field(football court) for the first month, and water training begins in May.

3. 21 first stream players will be chosen by the coach in the 2nd week of May.

4. The date of race is 6/22-6/24, and 6/22 is Friday, last day of NTU semester. So please make sure you don’t have class/ final test on that day, or even you do, make sure your professor agree to excuse you, let you have the exam earlier.

Hello, everyone

Here is a link for signing up to be the dragon boat team member, http://ppt.cc/4156 pls read the details first,

our practices start from april ,8.00am to 10am every saturday and sunday, of course we will have break before midterm test and final test,i know this practice is alittle tough and intensive,but we still hope that you can handle your time well.
so we are not going to force everyone to attend all the practice , but we hope that everyone putting all the efforts to make it like a team

Notifications
1. this is not free of chrage, we are sorry to tell you that, everyone have to pay around (NTD 1600,not sure yet ,depends on how many people in team), this fee included couch payment, competition payment , T-shirts and others expenses

2.The first month practice is land training, we will start to learn paddling （water training)1 month before competition

3.singing up to be a team member doest not mean that you are in starting line up , it depends on decision of couch, practice attendance may be a critical consideration

4.I will create a fb group ,all the latest informations will be posted over there, so please be sured that we can find you on fb

5.We are team,Have fun and enjoy with us~

Anyone wants to play football 12/10 for Team Taida in the international student Olympics held by NCCU? Its gonna be a 7 against 7, mix game. It costs 100 for each player, covering lunch box, insurance, and other expense---The Olympics will last for all day, football players can join other competitions such as Dodge Ball, or group replace racing for free.
