美國知名理工名校普渡大學（Purdue University）Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering 的學生於5月12日至15日在Dr. Denny Yu 與 Dr. Aliya Scott 的帶領下蒞臨國立臺灣科技大學進行短期研習訪問。為進一步促進臺科大學生的國際化體驗，國際處特別開放學生參與專題講座、企業參訪、實驗室交流及課堂互動等多元活動。藉此深化臺美雙方學生之國際交流與跨文化學習，以及促進老師們的學術合作。
訪團與臺科大學生除了在醫材公會協助下參訪多家智慧醫療領域的企業，亦參與校內人因工程與運動科學相關講座、臺科大運動科學與防護研究中心及醫療工程相關實驗室，並前往臺灣紡織產業綜合研究所學習智慧穿戴、功能性材料及產業應用等領域的創新成果。課程由紀佳芬老師、許維君老師與林儀佳老師、Dr. Denny Yu以及Dr. Aliya Scott共同帶領講授。工管系系主任楊朝龍老師並以普渡校友的身份宴請訪賓，倍感溫馨。
Students from the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering at the renowned U.S. engineering institution Purdue University visited National Taiwan University of Science and Technology for a short-term academic exchange program from May 12 to 15, 2026 under the leadership of Dr. Denny Yu and Dr. Aliya Scott.
The Office of International Affairs organized a series of program activities and opened participation opportunities for NTUST students to join the exchange program. Activities included lectures, industry visits, laboratory tours, and classroom interactions, creating a collaborative learning environment for students from both institutions.
The program was jointly led by Professors Chia-Fen Chi, Wei-Chun Hsu, Yi-Chia Lin, Dr. Denny Yu, and Dr. Aliya Scott, demonstrating fruitful interdisciplinary collaboration and educational exchange between Taiwan and the United States. Professor Chao-Lung Yang, Chair of the Department of Industrial Management and also a Purdue alumnus, hosted a dinner for the visiting delegation, adding a warm and memorable touch to the exchange program.
