研究重點為高速計算與精密量測，並與固體力學及結構振動課題緊密結合，以電子斑點干涉術及數位影像相關法為兩大主軸。研究項目立足於學術論文並積極與致力業界課題，並積極參加國內外研討會及論文競賽。
