Looking back on May 14, NTUST SOM welcomed teachers and students from the Department of Business and Economics at Erh Hsin High School in Keelung✨

Associate Dean Hsi-Wei Lin delivered a warm welcome, followed by introductory talks from Prof. Ying-Hao Lee (Department of Industrial Management), Prof. Hao-Yi Liang (Department of Business Administration), and Prof. Chiou-Hung Su (Department of Information Management). The professors introduced their departments, curricula, industry trends, and future career opportunities.

The visit also featured sharing sessions with NTUST SOM students who graduated from Erh Hsin High School, offering insights into university life and academic preparation.

The event concluded with an interactive exchange and campus tour.

Here are some of our favorite things at SOM! 💙

Boba, water, and caffeine to keep us going. Plants and capybara dolls on the windowsill for a little stress relief. An iPad and laptop to get the work done. And sofas that make SOM feel a little like home.

P**i, our beloved campus cat, may have found a new home, but she’ll always have a special place in our hearts. 🐱

上課、讀書的日子裡，手搖和咖啡是補充能量的小確幸，窗台上的植物和水豚公仔，則是讀書讀累時的小小療癒。

iPad 和筆電陪著我們完成每天的大小事，累了就到沙發上坐一下，讓忙碌的校園生活也多了一點放鬆的時刻。

當然，還有我們最喜歡的校園貓 P**i！🐱

雖然 P**i 已經找到新家，但相信她一定會一直是我們心中特別的存在。💙

SOM students bring home a Hackathon win! 🏆

From rapid ideation and team discussions to turning ideas into real solutions, our SOM students took on a Generative AI Applications Hackathon and came out on top, earning a Merit Award and NT$40,000 in prize money.

A hackathon is about more than technology. It challenges teams to think fast, collaborate under pressure, and transform an idea into something genuinely valuable within a tight timeframe.

Congratulations to our students for proving that in the age of AI, management students belong at the innovation table too.

Earlier this year, NTUST SOM had the honor of welcoming Associate Dean Yang Jeongwoo and Professor Chen Ping-kuo from the School of Management at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan.

Our Associate Dean Hsiu-Ching Ho, Executive Director Yu-Ling Hsu, and Administrative Officer Pei-Ying Ko warmly hosted the visit, where both sides exchanged ideas on future academic and institutional collaborations.

The visit not only strengthened our partnership with APU but also opened up exciting possibilities for future faculty and student exchanges and cross-cultural learning opportunities 🌍
