🚀 Big News & Exciting New Chapter! 🌍✨

Starting August 1st, the Master Program in Smart Healthcare Management (SHM) is officially expanding and transforming into The Master Program in Artificial Intelligence Applications and Management (AIAM)! 💡🤖

We are taking our mission to the next level—expanding cutting-edge technology applications beyond healthcare to cover a broader spectrum of industries, including modern management.

🎓 Looking Back with Gratitude

Since SHM was established in August 2021, we’ve been immensely proud to welcome brilliant international students from all over the globe—including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Mongolia, Mexico, Jordan, Somaliland, Pakistan, Nigeria, Myanmar, and France. Together, we have celebrated many who successfully earned their Master in Health Management (M.H.A.) degrees! The AIAM graduates would be awarded the degree, Master in Management Science (M. M. S) when they graduate.

As we turn the page, AIAM is thrilled to welcome our very first incoming class! Building on SHM’s strong foundation in health tech management, the new AIAM curriculum will deepen students' foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence. To help students align their studies with their unique interests and career goals, the elective courses are divided into two distinct tracks:
🔹 Applications Track – Focus on technical integration and practical implementation.
🔹 Management Track – Focus on strategic leadership, AI governance, and decision-making.

The Master Program in Artificial Intelligence Applications and Management (AIAM)
Are you passionate about shaping the future of AI and management in a global academic environment? 🌟

The Master Program in Artificial Intelligence Applications and Management (AIAM) at National Taipei University is officially recruiting one (1) contract-based, full-time faculty member (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor) to join our international team!

💡 Fields of Expertise
We are looking for candidates with expertise in at least one of the following areas who can deliver high-quality instruction entirely in English:
🔹 Data Mining
🔹 Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
🔹 Natural Language Processing (NLP)
🔹 Data Analytics
🔹 Healthcare Management

🎓 Qualifications & Key Responsibilities

📌 Qualifications:
Holds a doctoral degree accredited by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan.

Fluent in English (English must be used as the medium of instruction).

Willingness to assist with student recruitment, program evaluation, and administrative affairs.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

Teach graduate-level courses in English 📝
Supervise graduate student theses 🎓
Participate in academic research and publication 📊
Provide student counseling and mentorship 🤝
Assist with administrative affairs, recruitment, and program evaluations 💼

5️⃣ Photocopy of Master’s and Doctoral Diplomas (foreign degrees must be translated into Chinese and verified by Taiwan's overseas representative offices).
6️⃣ Photocopy of Academic Transcripts (both Master’s and Doctoral).
7️⃣ Photocopy of Certificates of Work Experience.
8️⃣ Two Letters of Reference (please provide contact details of your referees).
9️⃣ Photocopy of National ID Card or Passport (front and back).
🔟 Doctoral Dissertation & Publication Reprints (dissertation is not required if applying above the Assistant Professor level).

Last 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟮, Smart Healthcare Management students attended their field trip to 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 (ITRI) in Hsinchu City, learning about the latest technological innovations in Taiwan has to offer. After the Science educational portion of the trip, the students were able to learn about local culture and history as they enjoyed an afternoon in 𝗗𝗮𝘅𝗶 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 in Taoyuan City.

𝗛𝗮𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 (College Secretary), as well as some 𝙎𝙃𝙈 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛, joined the NVIDIA GTC Research Summit to meet with NVIDIA Managers Mr. Alex and Mr. Victor to discuss the 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 and plans for further collaborations for professional development.
