STUDY WHILE YOU WORK

INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT OF FAME FET TV STUDENTS

Thanks for applying in your numbers so far. The first auditions of 2023 class of TV students will be Friday 27 January 2023 at FAME FET Campus Studios.

This is to place the first 100 Performing Arts & Film and TV Production students for internships as per our advert.

We need On-Air Talents (TV presenters) and Technical Staff (Camera People) for lifestyle TV shows that are starting to shoot in February and will broadcast on Gospel Lifestyle Channel 360 on StarSat.

The Gospel Lifestyle Channel is housed at FAME FET Campus.

FAME FET Campus also houses the productions of the popular I Blew It, Ingan Yam and Suxoka that are broadcasted on DSTV Channel 161 and 163.

NB: These Auditions are open ONLY for students who have completed their registrations for academic year 2023 at FAME FET.

Why Audition our own students? Well, Auditions help us to help our students to enrol in the correct course that matches their natural talent, strengths and capabilities.

For example, you may be a natural actor. But you might be good in acting for Theater than acting for Film or TV.

Our students study on the job. We subscribe to 30% theory and 70% practicals. The idea is to turn natural talent into a sustainable skill that will feed our students for the rest of their lives

This is FAME FET student Katlego Mosielele from Kimberley in the Northern Cape. He enrolled at the beginning of 2022 but he's already on internship at Soweto TV.

FAME FET subscribes to 70% practicals and 30% theory.

We have lined up about 100 internships for our students in 2023 who will be placed at different media houses. These include the technical students (production students and sound engineers) and on-air talents (Actors and Presenters)

At FAME FET we don't just train you and leave you to fend for yourself. We have partnered with many media houses and TV production companies to place our students for internships.

The idea is to get you employed as soon as you are ready, even when you are still studying. And the best place to start is internship. Then you will gradually work your way to the top.
