Today IRO organized an Academic Day for Exchange students, Fall 2023. The ocassion was graced by the Head of Department Technical Teacher and Instructor Education, Kyambogo University and he welcomed and to Kyambogo University. On behalf of the department, he pledged their support to ensure that the students have an impactful practice placement while in Uganda.
The Students will have their placement at YMCA comprehensive institute, Hair Hub Uganda among other institutions around Kampala.
Later on, an admissions ceremony was held to officially welcome the students to Kyambogo University.

Kyambogo University staff led by the Head of International Relations Office; Dr. Judith Irene Nagasha Attended a one week Staff week at the University of Piraeus in Greece. The staff week was attended by several other universities and institutions from across the globe.

On Wednesday 12th April 2023, the International Office organized a farewell dinner for its international Students (Spring 2023) from who have been at Kyambogo for three months. The 16 teacher students have been carrying out their practice placements in institutions within Kampala like; Kyambogo College school, St Paul's Banda primary School, Shoma Christian Academy, Orchard International School, Public Health Nurses' School, KyU Counselling unit, Kyambogo Primary School and Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (UHTTI) Jinja. The Students have been very interactive and participative in university activities including the iHElP project that was organised by the department of Early Childhood and Pre-Primary Education KyU.
We thank in a special way for the active partnership with Kyambogo University.
To the students, Thank You for choosing to come to Kyambogo University in Uganda for your Placement.

The International Relations Office in collaboration with the American Embassy in Kampala has organized a half day workshop about Fulbright scholarships. The Engagement Team from the American Embassy will take participants through the application process and the requirements needed to win the scholarship.
This workshop is scheduled for Thursday 30th March 2023 at CLB 104 Kyambogo University from 9:30AM to 12pm.
All students and staff are urged to attend.

Uganda Hotel & Tourism Institute (UHTTI) Jinja is one of Kyambogo University and Oslo Metropolitan's partners where some of our International exchange students carry out their practice from. This spring 2023, one of the students Marcus Soleim had his practice placement at UHTTI and it was a wonderful experience full of learning.
As the two delegations from Norway visited Kyambogo this March, they visited the institute to strengthen the collaboration and as well discuss new synergies and collaborations.
